What is the correct way of filling up the online NBI form?

I also called USEM this morning to ask if there is anything specific needed on the NBI Clearance and the lady said that the NBI Clearance that USEM is asking is just a normal NBI Clearance (green form) and she told me to call NBI to ask about it.

I went today at the NBI main office and went straight to the information counter. The guy asked for the letter from the US Embassy (I assume it's the 22g1a) I said I'm not done with my interview yet. He said, he needs it. I then showede him my previously acquired NBI clearance, telling him what I need is my maiden name to show up as an AKA. He said why would I need it since all my names are written on my NBI already. I asked what if I needed it --the AKA-? He said, then come back here with the letter ????

I don't know what to do anymore ??

Well you just have to go to the interview with that NBI clearance. If the CO didn't ask for the AKA part, never mention it. As long as the NBI shows current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names - as per guidelines.

I will just give you an update after my interview. Hopefully, everything goes well since all the names in our documents are all written in the NBI.

All we can do now is hope and pray that the interview goes smoothly.

Yeah, I'm still confused as well because some people are saying one thing and others are saying another. But I've found no way around it since NBI, of course, would follow their format which is Last name (father's surname), Middle name (mother's maiden name), First name, husband's surname. Even if I put the format that the others are saying like putting the married name and AKAs, NBI would correct it when they encode it (which resulted to me having 3 identical NBI clearances with no AKA).

I cannot go there and tell them that they should follow the format that I've read online since that would be undermining their job/authority (it is, after all, their job and I'm hoping that, by now, they would know what and what is not needed in the forms). Not unless USEM instructs me so (which I pray would never happen), then I can go there and tell them that that's what is needed according to USEM. But right now, I don't know if the CO would reject the NBI Clearance that I have because I've also read stories where they didn't have any problems with NBI Clearances not having AKAs.

This is making me anxious. My interview will be on Nov. 13. I'll give an update on how everything turns out after the interview.

Just finished with the interview today. The consul said everything looks good and sent me to releasing. Encountered no problem regarding the NBI with no AKA.

Just waiting for the "ISSUED" remark on CEAC. Just to be sure. Hehe..

I did hear a few who were asked for NBI with AKA but I'm guessing they are the ones who actually have used other names aside from their BC and married name.
