The problem is that we are at war (or should be ) with radical Islam

During Ww2 we were AR war with the Nazi's not the German people , many of whom were good people .

However the good people allowed death camps, genocide and horrible wars of aggression, we went to war with Germany.

Until either the peaceful members of Islam get the millions of world wide radicals in line or we find a laser sight that can tell the differance, Islam has declared war on the world.

I don't think there is fool proof way to differentiate between peaceful members of Islam and the radicals.

The peaceful ones could also change overnight...

There are plenty of Christians killing homosexuals here? And they do this in public? How do you get to see all the good stuff? Or is this all in your head?

There are plenty of Christians who kill homosexuals, people of color, in the United States and around the world. One poor young man was tied to a wire fence after being beaten, and left for dead, in Wyoming.

Recently a young man on the train in SF was lit aflame. The media doesn't cover Christians killing each other as much as It should. Funny how the media works.

People are people everywhere! There are moderates, conservatives, progressive's. Religious, atheists, check all that appliers. Radical Christians, radical Buddhist's, radical Hindus, radical Jews, radical Muslims, etc etc. But the funniest part is, when we say, you're not welcome because you're not us, you belong to them! we're behaving EXACTLY like the "them" we are so afraid of. Most people want to live their lives peacefully, giving their children a safe place and teaching them good values. Be kind, be courageous, do unto others as you would have done to you. It doesn't matter what religion, color, nation, creed, gender, sexual preference, the majority of people want the same things. We can't build a fence long enough to keep people out. That's not what it says on the Statue of Liberty! "Build me a fence, so I can keep all WASPs safe from UN-puritanical values and God forbid a tinge of brown and a foreign accent more foreign then the ones our founding fathers had" is NOT what is on the Statue of Liberty. If you don't know what is, then America is lost, and will continue to be lost. I find forums like this one hilarious on a site dedicated to help people from around the world go through the process of coming to America. Its hilarious, hypocritical and ridiculous. You all can continue to in ineffectively debate each other about who you will vote for or whether or not you will, and spread islamaphobic bull hockey all day long. I'm just thankful I live in a country where my Jewish neighbor can go to temple, my Muslim neighbor can go to the mosque and I can come back from church on a Sunday and post this, and then we can all get together for our once a month Sunday BBQ and enjoy each other's company. I'm happy someday our children will play together and say to each other, we're proud to be American.

I have asked several American Filippino recently, if we went to war with the Phillipines who would you support. 100% the Phillipines.

So many point to the Japanse internment camps during Ww2 as a great evil. However our country had been attacked and the very survival of our nation is at stake. We have large populations of extremely nationlstic Japanse, who consider the emperor a God. Many of them or Most of them feel bound by honor to support Japan. Some dont. You are expecting an invasion at some point. How do you weed out the ones not loyal to Japan.

It was not hysteria. It was not racism, it was a combat decision for the security of our country. Yes it's popular for the PC crowd to retro judge the decision and feign outrage, over a decision that was made when our country was in danger of falling.

BTW . Over 100,000 Americans died, that's right died fighting the Japanese in a war they startes.

Ok then, for the sake of argument and being a libertarian, I agree depriving American citizens of Liberty is repugnant. (BTW the majority of them were not)

You are command. Your country is under attack and a West coast invasion is extremely likely by an enemy that is fanatical and will fight to the death.

You have 100,000 people in your area, behind the lines that, the majority strongly sympathize with the enemy.

Same thing can be said for my chinese (from china) co-workers, even though their kids are born US citizens here.

They identify themselves more with China than US who granted them LPR or US citizenship

Just hope that US and China never have to go to war.
