My fiance is already here on a K1 fiance visa. We still have 60 days to get married. She wants to change her name and have the record sealed for safety reasons since her family does not approve of us. Can she change her first name (and last name) through USCIS somehow? If not, is there a way to change her name even though she is not a US citizen yet?

Shes already here or is said family here in the states too?

Conventional name changes can be done via marriage and doesn't require USC status.

A more holistic name change may require more involvement via courts as well as complicate USCIS processing.

She'll need to change her name at the county court. When she files for AOS, she'll put her new name, and provide the evidence of name change that she'll receive from the country court's office. On the form she'll need to disclose previous names and aliases.
