Hello VJers,

I called NVC again for my checklist email. Another call operator told me I never included the document cover sheet which confounded me.

I had sent them the coversheet that they had included with the instruction sheet. However, when I visited the ceac site (and printed the coversheet), the coversheet is completely different than one I had sent. Which one is the right one? shown below

(1) Coversheet with the instruction sheet:

Document Cover sheet

List of documents

Order Document Enclosed Unavialble Available

1. Cover sheet ........ [ ]

2. Financial documents.. [ ]

...etc

OR

(2) Coversheet in the ceac site:

This says:

DOCUMENT COVER SHEET

The next step in the immigration process is for the Petitioner to submit an Affidavit of Support. A link to the instructions has been provided for you on the Receipt Page. You can also find the instructions on the NVC website at www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov

You MUST RETURN THIS COVER SHEET with the Petitioner's completed forms and supporting documents. Failure to do so will delay your visa(s). Please attach this page to the front of the documents for this case and mail to:

You can choose to provide either. What's important is that the cover has your barcode on it.

Personally, we submitted (1) the one with the checklist.

There is the document check list sheet that you get with the Nvc welcome letter and there is also a barcode cover sheet that can be printed from the aos or Iv payment portal.you need to include both the documents check list sheet and one of the bar code cover sheet it does not matter which barcode cover sheet you use
