My time frame has not changed. Still waiting for "In-line" notification or the letter for interview. Should I get worried?

Sorry to hear that sharito83, my suggestion is to make a infopass appointment with the San Jose office and see what the hold up might be. It also could be that they're still running a background check on you and it hasn't been completed for various reasons. Hopefully this clears up for you soon! :)

What do you mean it went from Dallas to Houston. You moved from Dallas to Houston or the oath is scheduled for Houston instead of Dallas. I am lost.

Got the oath letter in the mail today and just as the tier 2 officer said, I'm scheduled for May 4th at 9:15 AM :) :) :) :) Curiously though, the letter was sent from the San Francisco office and not from the National Benefits Center in Missouri. I think they sent it from the local office since I was scheduled on short notice. I'll update everyone on how the oath ceremony went :)

Totally done - Jamnan received her passport this afternoon. No more immigration for her, but I am on the phone to the Thai embassy trying to get my passport back so we can travel next week. Immigration - the gift that keeps on giving.

hi alanandmaria, how do you ask the uscis tier 2 for the schedule? i called them becuase my status said its in the mail but no mail yet

Hey Annie,

When I called USCIS I told the customer service rep to transfer me to a tier 2 officer. Once I was speaking with the officer, I let her know that I wanted to know the oath ceremony date and time in advance so I can let my family and friends know so they can get the day off. The officer understood and told me the date, time and place. The officer also told me if I was within 5 days of the oath ceremony and still didn't receive the oath letter, to call back so they can fax it to me. Luckily it came on the mail on time so I don't have to worry about that. I'd highly suggest calling back and speaking to the tier 2 officer to see when your scheduled date is. Hope this info helps you out! :)

Scheduled for oath ceremony!!

Hi, Mr & Mrs Owl...

Let me ask you a question:

When you were waiting for your Oath letter, did they (Los Angeles) update your status to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled", after that to "We scheduled your oath ceremony.."? Or, they just skip to "We scheduled your oath ceremony.." from "A interview was scheduled"

I received my Oath ceremony notice, then a couple days after I received another notice stating "Oath Ceremony Descheduled by USCIS"

"We will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice"

#######????? :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying: Why???

Does this mean i may have another interview???

Has anybody else here received such a notice?

**side note i applied under the 3 year rule.
