Hi everyone. I also passed my test today. :dancing::dancing::dancing: . It was pretty straight forward. My interview was scheduled at 1:20pm. I checked in exactly at 1:20 and before I got a chance to sit at the waiting area, my IO called my name. When we got his office, he asked for my ID, green card, and passport. Then I sworn in. He then started to go through my N400 application and confirming my information. This part was the longest part the interview. Once we completed this part he said that he has some questions for me.

1)What is name of the national anthem?

2)How old do the citizens have to be to vote for the president?

3)What is the "rule of the law"?

4)what is the name of the ocean on the west cost?

5)What happened on September 11?

6)Why are there 13 stripes on the flag?

This part was less than a minute in total. For the English part, he asked me to read "how many Senators do we have?". Then asked to write "We have 100 Senators."

Afterwards, he congratulated me that I passed my interview and I should receive my Oath Ceremony date within 30 days in the mail. Then while he was walking me out, we chitchatted a little. I was in and out in 12 minutes total. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

What do you mean it went from Dallas to Houston. You moved from Dallas to Houston or the oath is scheduled for Houston instead of Dallas. I am lost.

My wife's oath was today, she's officially a U.S. citizen!!! Please update my status; I can never get it right.

Thank everyone on this site so much; our process was made so much easier and smoother because of the advice of people here. :)

We're having a celebration party soon!!!

My wife had her oath today at the beautiful Paramount Theater in downtown Oakland, California (along with 1,251 others from >90 countries). Four years and a week since I filed my 129F and five months and a week after she filed her N-400. A very smooth process from the consulate to the oath ceremony. Off to file for her passport and then we head back to Thailand to check on our son/step-son.

Thanks for everyone's posts - made us feel that we were surrounded by fellow travelers.

Hey San Francisco filers,

Unless I'm mistaken, there are some of us still waiting to be scheduled for the oath ceremony. Any update from anyone as to when their oath is?

From what it looks like, the San Francisco office is backlogged and we might have to wait a while to do the oath :(

My wife's oath was today, she's officially a U.S. citizen!!! Please update my status; I can never get it right.

Thank everyone on this site so much; our process was made so much easier and smoother because of the advice of people here. :)

We're having a celebration party soon!!!

Got the text and notification that my oath letter has been mailed!!!!! Called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2 officer to get the date of the ceremony(so I can let my wife and family know to get the day off). Oath will be May 4th at 9:15 AM!!!!!! Updating the timeline:
