Hey guys since i filed last november been keeping an eye on this thread,

however I have bitten my nails and have had sleepless nights and my Interview letter has

not arrived yet. UGH! But hey, better wait than "Application Dismissed/ Application Denied"

I remember walking out of the IO's office and then down the long hallway back to the waiting room and everyone was staring at me because I had a huge smile on my face XD I couldn't help smiling :dance:

Hello people,

I had my interview this morning on Philadelphia at 10:45am. I got there on time and the IO took me to her office on time. I passed the test and civil questions and the interview was fast, nothing special about it. The IO went through my file and verified that everything was update. Everything seemed to be in order. Then, first, she gave me a piece of paper with my data that would be used on my certificate of naturalization and she asked me to sign it up on the bottom on it. I was super happy because I thought that I was going to receive my oath letter but not, because after that she gave the another paper about my results and it was stated that:

(X) TEST PASSED.

(X) NOT DECISION CAN BE MADE YET

I was shocked on myself and respectfully I asked to the IO about that and she said that I sent a lot of evidence since the beginning of my process and she needs to double check that everything wis fine. (But, the question is: Perhaps she forgot that they requested us to sent 'enough' evidence of our real marriage????). Well, I just smiled and thanked her for everything.

What do think about my interview experience guys???? how long is going to take to get any decision??? By the way, I don't have any kind of criminal record or anything legal issue else.

Had my interview today. Was called in about 30 minutes later than my appointment time. I was surprised that the IO had so many questions about our relationship and the proof that we provided; how do you pay your rent, what car does your wife drive, where do you get gas for your car, what's your mother/father in laws name, etc.

The English test was simple (had to read one sentence, and write a sentence). The civics questions were: Name a branch of the government, number of justices in supreme court, what does the judicial branch do, what does the President's cabinet do, if the President can no longer serve, who becomes President.

After that, the IO went through the N400 application, which was probably the easiest part of the interview. She confirmed the information (name, current address/previous address), current job/previous job, days outside of US, any previous marriages and children, and finally all the yes/no questions from the N400. She literally went thru each and every question from the form.

Had to sign two papers (N400), and she finally said: "Congratulations, you're approved".

She gave me the Naturalization Interview Results:

(X) You passed the tests of English U.S, history and government.

(X) Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval.

hello,

i ve had my interview today . everything went fine . civics and history question all cleared . the IO went trough my application and ask me a lot of questions . we talked about my trips outside the US. i ve had a lot . and since i dont have my old passport he said that he has to check in their system if the dates matches or are close enough to what i ve put in the application . and if they need . they will ask me to bring some proofs about my travels like flight tickets. so he stated that a decision cannot be made at this time and that i should wait for a mail soon for further steps. im still positive and im hoping for a response soon :)
