Congrats mahal_kita.

Thank you guys so much, I have done one final review for the interview tomorrow:) The only inconvenience for tomorrow is that I have to bring a whole bag of paperwork since my N400 is marriage based, but that's ok:) I am so excited and I can't wait for tomorrow:)

I will tell you how the interview went in details:)

Interview and Oath taking Day 2-11-2015

I went to my Naturalization interview today at 10:15am, got to my interview @9:50am. I was called in about 10:00am. IO asked me to swear prior to sitting and requested my greencard, state/dl card and appointment letter. But I don't have dl/state card so I just give him my tax return for 2015 instead.

He then handed me the paper and I read it: "what do we pay to the government?" After that I write the answer "We pay taxes." Then he asked me the civic questions:

What state borders Canada?

What is freedom of religion?

When the Constitution was written?

What ocean is on the east coast?

When must all men register for Selective Service?

He went thru my N-400 and have me signed my N-400. He congratulated me and asked me if I want to do my oath taking at 1:30pm. I answered Yes :) (with a very big smile)

It was a very quick interview that I felt like I just sit there for 5-10 minutes. I guess the IO was in a hurry. I was done before my interview schedule.

THank You GOD!!! God bless America and each and everyone of you!! :dancing:

Goodluck Plam

Everything went great for me as well:). I was the first one there, since my interview was scheduled for 8am and I live 1:30 minutes away. I was called at 8:05 and put under oath, sat down, she went over the 6 questions, which was very easy and fast, then through all the Y and N answers on my N400. Told me I passed and the oath might take up to 4 months to be scheduled, which is fine:) I asked how exactly the name change will work for me, she made me sign with my new signature, which I have never done, and was totally freaked out, even though it was just a signature LOL

I don't remember how many questions I got asked, but I can only remember three LOL

All the best to everybody still waiting for the interview:)

Wow, in a few months I will be able to travel with my blue passport yeahhhh:)

Did my interview last wednesday, 2/10. IO verbally congratulated that I passed the interview. On N652, however, he checked both options:

A) Congratulations!! You have been recommended for approval.

B) A decision cannot be made on your case.

When asked, he said he had to do a final review and will mail the decision within 2 weeks. Gave me his personal contact info if i dont receive the approval letter in 2 weeks. I have a week and half to go, but then anxiety is justified. I cannot help thinking about him checking both options: A and B.

Anyone had the similar experience; or knows why exactly he checked both options. Please provide some real life context if you have experienced [ or have known] the similar situation.

Thanks,

Rup
