Got my IL yesterday and my interview is on march 09 2016

Finally got the interview letter to day in the mail today. I am updating my info. Also I wanna point out that my Field Office is San Francisco. It has been taking a little longer than usual for this location but it looks like they are moving along. Hopefully other fellow San Franciscans start to receive their letters soon.

I'm getting ready gathering my docs for interview on 2/10. Here's what I've gathered so far. I know I'm somewhat overdoing it, but overdoing is always better than underdoing. Please let me know if I'm missing anything.

1) IL

2) GC

3) Passport(s)

4) DL

5) Pay stubs for last 6 months (just in case if i had to prove the 3 state residency)

6) Tax transcripts for last 5 years. (3 years IRS transcript + 2 years Turbotax) - both, federal and state.

7)Birth Certificate

8) 2X2 photos - 4 pcs

9) Marriage Certificate (photocopy)

10) Birth Certificate of my daughter (photocopy)

11) Employment letter

12) Past travel itineraries. Travelled out of the country 10 times during these 5 years. I was able to print out 7 itineraries.

13) DMV record - clean

rup, I always think it's better to come prepared so :thumbs:

When the IO in charge of my case called me to reschedule my interview, she actually recommended bringing my immigration "binder" (she knew by the looks of my immigration packet that I would have a binder full of documents XD)

BUT always remember to only offer something IF the IO asks for it.

Just got back from my citizenship interview. It was a typical interview. The officer verified all the information on n-400 form, then tests.

In the end, he congratulated me that I've passed the interview. Then he handed me form N-652. Here's what my N-652 looks like

He put check marks on:

- You passed the test of English and US history and government.

-USCIS will send you a written decision about your application.

-A) Congratulations! Your application is recommended for approval.

-B) A decision cannot yet be made about your application.

I asked the officer as to why he checked both A) and B). He basically said they have to do a final verification, that's why he checked it. It generally means nothing, and assured that I should be getting my approval letter in 2 weeks.

I also requested him to schedule my oath in about a month due to conflicting schedules which he said he'll try.

Any experiences/ thoughts about check marks on A and B, both?

- You passed the test of English and US history and government.

-USCIS will send you a written decision about your application.

-A) Congratulations! Your application is recommended for approval.

-B) A decision cannot yet be made about your application.

I asked the officer as to why he checked both A) and B). He basically said they have to do a final verification, that's why he checked it. It generally means nothing, and assured that I should be getting my approval letter in 2 weeks.

I also requested him to schedule my oath in about a month due to conflicting schedules which he said he'll try.

Any experiences/ thoughts about check marks on A and B, both?

Just got back from my citizenship interview. It was a typical interview. The officer verified all the information on n-400 form, then tests.
