I recently receive my 10yr tourist visa and my girlfriend is a green card holder, now my first trip is just for a visit but on my second trip we plan to get married in the states and start the paper works. I have done some studies and notice that the case would be ready within 3-5 years and my tourist visa would only allow me 5months in the states.... my question is if we get married is there away for me to stay in the states with her until the case comes through? is there away for us to work around this without any issues with the system?

You were granted a B2 visitor's visa, not an immigrant visa.

If your true intentions are to come here and just stay, I recommend you get married in your home country and then have your girlfriend (future wife) file an I-130 petition for you. Once your priority date becomes current, you can come to this country to live.

Welcome to the forum.

To come to the US on a visitor/tourist visa with the intention of immigration is illegal and is called immigration fraud. The intention of a visitor/tourist visa is to come to the US, visit, and then return to your home country.

The nature of this question is asking VJ members to violate the site's Terms of Service (TOS), http://www.visajourn...m/content/terms The same TOS that you agreed to abide by when you joined the forum. Specifically:

Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method.

Members violating this TOS are subject to administrative action.
