Visiting for a long time

Hello vjers!

I have a question. My husband is coming to my country for about three months or until I get my immigrant visa and he just quit his job. We are currently at the nvc stage waiting for the IV bill to be available. Does this mean i have to say he lives here or nothing cause he's just visiting?

If he still has a home in the US I guess you could say he visits you. Does he have a job to get back to when he returns or are you guys using a joint sponsor?

NVC case numbers March 22nd
My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

October 23rd 2015, Oath ceremony!!!!!​​

When he resigned to his job he asked for a letter that says whats his current income until his last day of work and that thay would be happy to hire him back. And he has a domicile in the us

That letter won't really do much. Happy to hire him back is no guarantee

He needs to give evidence of current and continuing income, the promise letter will not be enough. If he cannot give evidence of a current and continuing income at the time of the interview then it would be wise to secure a joint sponsor in order to avoid delays in visa issuance.
