When is the K-1 accepted?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if them taking out the fee for the K-1 petition (the cheque she sent was cashed a couple days ago), means they accepted the paperwork? I've been so nervous that it might get sent back for an error or some other reason. Any help is really appreciated! :)

Just means it got there and they opened and cashed it for PROCESSING fees, not acceptance fees. USCIS part is pretty benign, they dont seem to fret about tons unless something blatantly wrong. You have a long way to go to before getting anxious yet. They wouldnt find anything 'wrong' UNTIL they took your money.

Welcome to the forum.

It indicates that they took your money. The real proof of I-129F petition receipt is when you receive (either electronically or hardcopy) the Form I-797c, Petition received notice (NOA1). Then you can just sit back and wait............... However, please don't do this :clock: , it can drive a person crazy. :yes:
