Good afternoon November 2015 Filers

We did our Biometrics on 01/08/16,

Our appointment was at 08.30am and we arrived roughly about 8.45am. There were lots of people inside and also waiting by the door to be let inside. However, we were finished at about 10.30am...very busy there 1st thing in the mornings, if you have a early appointment.

We are doing my step childrens I-751's and received a NoA on 11/27/2015. Unfortunately when I go on the USCIS Check my case status website, it states "My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again." (for both children), I am working for the US Military so filed under those conditions so we mailed finger print cards in etc (no biometric appt required). I have done this before for my wifes greencard and the last time this happened it - meaning the EAC number never showed up online - the package was missent to the national archives and I had to email my congressman rep to have it found.....

Anyone else having this issue?

Hi. On my biometric appointment letter, I had two case numbers. The first case number gives me the same message that you received about the case not being recognized, but the second one tells me that my case was received on 25 nov etc. Have you tried both numbers? Also, I don't know if you'd qualify for this but USCIS has a helpline for case filers who are active duty military. You might try calling them to get a case update.

Dear all,

Though, I have been away from posting; I have been closely monitoring the forum.

In addition, I have a quick question, my Bio appointment was scheduled for 12/22/15 however, I had mistaken/confused the dates.

Fortunately, I was lucky enough to attend (walk-in) the following day without a mishap.

I wonder, if by missing my original appointment date, my case will incur some delays while processing?

Can anyone share their input.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
