Hey mn4ever009,

I have been put on a supervisor review and i had called them today inquiring as to what happens when it is under supervisor review. The rep gave me totally different information than what was given to you. The rep mentioned that when it is under supervisor review only a supervisor will review the file and a regular worker does not review it at all. This is totally confusing as every other rep on the phone gives some different information. They really need to get their act together and educate the reps on the same information and not provide different information to people. It totally sucks on getting different and contradictory information.

Hi NYMETS, you asked for a supervisor review or was put on it without asking?

This is so frustrating!! What gives them the right to give us false information? I don't know what to think anymore. I will call again tonight. I hope we are lucky as the others who were only in supervisor review for 2-4 days. I never even asked to be put on supervisor review nor was I asked. I am praying we hear some good news by friday.

Hey Acton,

I did not ask for a supervisor review, but it was forced on me. I had called to inquire about the status on my case and the rep said that it is more than 30 days and I will put you on a supervisor review. I asked the rep if we could wait for a day or two and he said it is their policy that if more than 30 days then it must be put under supervisor review. So there i was without any option, but to follow with what he had to say.

Oh, I see. wish you a good luck. As another post said, some people got CC after 2 or 3 days on the supervisor review. Stay positive! Please post here if there is any update, it will definitely help others understand better about the process of supervisor review. The reason I did not call them is that I was told it will trigger a supervisor review.

I hear you! I didn't start before because I was afraid they would expire, little did I know that Egypt was going to be the hardest one to figure out, it was a combination of that and my husband being a little stubborn. Anyway, I guess I will just wait one more week to send all the documents together.

I'm a little curious: did you have to translate all police certificates? if so, did you use a translation service?

I agree, thanks for your input :)

Actually all four of them arrived in English, Including the Jordanian one. But if yours happen to come in a language other than English make sure you have it translated by a certified translator ! Failure to do so will result in a checklist. Hope you get that police certificate quick and get that case complete, Good Luck.

zeeeeeeek or anyone your help please

After receiving my NVC case # and Invoice Identification Number

how long I need to wit before I pay the money I was trying to pay but the system keep tell me is wrong number .

Hi Soba3 As far as the research i have done, it takes at least 24 hours since you get your case number for you to be able to make the payment. When i called them up on the 23rd i was told that they just generated a case number and IIN. I figured out later that this wasn't true. I checked out the chart with Julian dates and i found out that the case number was actually generated on the 19th. So Once we got our case number we simply submitted the DS-261 application and paid the AOS fee. The next step is to have our DS-261 reviewed over the phone before the IV payment can become available. We called yesterday to have our DS-261 reviewed but they said that i needed to wait at least a week. Ill just wait another 2 days and give them another call.

Do we need police certificate to be included in civil document or we need to bring that on interview.

My husband ordered two police certificates from each country so that we can submit originals to NVC and at Interview. Later it turned out that Jordanians need to send documents electronically, therefore we only needed it at the interview. In your case i suggest you make a photocopy to be sent to NVC Keeping the original for the Interview. In the cover-letter just write that you have submitted photocopy of the police certificate and that you understand that you are required to submit original documents to an immigration or consular at the interview. Good Luck

Hello everyone!

My scan date was Oct13, and we kept calling NVC and asking about case. Tried to avoid to be put on supervisors review.

So my husband called NVC yesterday again asking about delay and agent admitted that it was more then 30 days and she would put our case on supervisor review. I got upset a bit, knew about 42 days - BUT today my russian morning was delightful - I saw 3 N/A`s on a site!!!!!! Husband will call later for comfirmation but I already believe that it`s done))))

I shouldn`t expect an RFE having N/A`s right?

So I assume we shouldn`t be afraid of supervisor`s review, some of us here got a result soon after this action.

Good Luck everyone and please keep calling to NVC, seems like such calls make them move.

Very happy for you. You saw the third N/A before going to sleep, you mean USA time? The status could be updated during non-business hours?
