NVC Filers - November 2015

My lawyer just emailed me our I-797, notice of action letter today. The letter states they "sent the original visa petiton to NVC" and allowe a "minimum of 30 days to start contacting NVC if we haven't received any correspondence". So even though my online status on USCIS still says my case was approved (11//19/2015), is it safe to say that our case has been sent to NVC already??

Have a look at the case complete Interview spreadsheet and search for your country. this will give you the average processing time of your country.

Perfect, thank you!

Hello everyone,

My scan date is 10/22. Called NVC today and asked for supervisor. I confirmed that being sent to supervisor review does not mean it will be 42 days, it is just alerting the supervisor your documents have not been reviewed BUT one of the regular workers who were suppose to review it can still do so regarrdless. If they do not then the supervisor will see it regardless and review it. And if it was reviewed when the supervisor checks their system they will see that the d-260 was reviewed and taken care of. Many people on here have gotten sent to supervisor review and completed next day or two. This has been very stressful and I wish everyone good luck.

Hey, I have the same scan date as yours. 4th November, 2015. You got checklist or case complete as yet?

No, nothing yet. It seems that NVC takes exactly 30 business days to process the paperwork.

IMO we both should receive some sort of notification about our cases on or before 12/19

So with a scan date of 5/11, I guess that means I need to wait until Monday 21st?!?!

Hey, where did you get that screenshot from?

My scan date is 10/22 as well. Called 11/23 but seems like case remains unopened. Is it advisable to call NVC everyday and follow up or just wait till they notify you? Scared that they have some sort of record on how many times u called in and give u a hard time for being impatient. ???

Scan date of 10/22 here. I keep eagerly checking my status hoping for that third NA. I'm afraid to call and get on supervisor review with how sporadic those seem to be. I'll give it a couple more days and see how it goes.

We have the same scan date. Still no CC.

Hi Sohisami,

We are on the same exact boat with regards fees paid. I have the same dates as you and they are still showing as In process, I see some folks here have called and had no luck with clearing up the issue. If it's a technical difficulty I'm afraid we just have to wait and just keep checking. There is always something with these people!

My IV fees is showing Paid now, but AOS fees still in process.

Got our case complete email early this morning. Had called on Friday and they told us about it on the phone but I forgot to ask the exact date.

The email is dated today but I have seen people say it takes 7 days. So if we got the email today does that mean our real case complete date was really last Tuesday?

Thanks

My AOS fee is showing Paid now, but my IV fee is still in process. So strange how they updated one and not the other on the opposite ends for us :S
