thank you so much ( I did gather all required document by NVC )all my taxes 1040 with W2 and latter from the bank and latter from work plus we travel together for honeymoon to 4 different country I have ticket receipt and boarding pass plus I add my wife to my medical insurance .and some pic

did I miss anything

For the NVC package you don't need to provide any bona fide marriage proofs, save them for the interview.

Whether you missed something or not, you should check the CEAC guide. It is very detailed and simple, and the list of needed documents may vary from case to case.

Hi everyone,

Please, I need your help, if possible. Does anyone here have some sort of example of how a letter addressed to the CO/embassy should be written? We got a random checklist for my husband's W-2s for 2014. He doesn't have those because he didn't work in the US for the past 3 years.

When we called NVC and asked about what should we do in this case, the rep told us that hubby should write a letter explaining why he doesn't have the W-2s and mail the original letter to me, so I can have it in hand at the interview (whenever that's going to happen).

Anyone that can help me with this? Thank you!

The NVC will send an e-mail to the e-mail address you specified and to your agent (if you selected someone different than yourself). The letter will have the date in which they received your documents (also know as the "scan date").

Wish you a fast review!

There is some language here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/554156-sample-letter-for-no-submission-of-taxes-of-the-past-3-years/

but the meat of it is probably just:

[Date]

Re: [case number]

Checklist dated 2015/XX/XX

To Whom it May Concern:

I am a US Citizen petitioning for [spouse name] in case number [case number].

I have been resident in [country] for the past X years and therefore do not have W2 forms available as supporting documentation for my income tax filing for tax year 2014.

Thank you for your attention.

[name]

I guess if there is an equivalent document or pay stubs you can attach, you could do that?

I did a quick search...there may be something better out there but this is what I would write if it were me.

Hope that helps.

Guys, are we suppose to call to have our DS-261 review? or is this another snail process?

You can call after a few days, and you might get lucky. It took me more than 2 weeks to get mine reviewed on the phone, but some people go faster :)
