Just got off the phone with NVC.

Finally the guy told me that our case is complete...I had to ask him like 3 times because I didn't believe him. Because he said "Well it looks like we have everything we need from you", which is what they have told me for almost the last month then tell me about the backlog creating the electronic file etc...so I asked him and he said no everything looks good and you are in line to be scheduled for an interview.

Finally!!

Originally submitted on Sept 7th electronically, they lost the emails

Resubmitted with Scan date of October 12th.

Case complete November 20th (not sure on the exact date...I forgot to ask him I was too excited).

I am probably going to call back Monday to ask again...as I am still like...."are you sure??" :joy:

Hey guys just got our NOA2 on the 6th of this month Feels good to finally be here after that dreadful wait lol

Thanks for the response and lets hope that this will be the last 2 weeks at the NVC. My case has been over a year including the USCIS and NVC process and now I am eagerly waiting for it to be over.

Hi guys, my IV bill show as Paid after 8 days... every case is different,

Hope both can hear good news soon

2015-06-26: USCIS update that case was sent to NVC

2015-07-14: Case number assigned when calling on 2015-07-20 but couldn't give emails as case was locked still

2015-07-27: Called and was able to give emails

2015-07-27: Submit DS-261

2015-07-27: Pay AOS Fee

2015-08-26: Pay IV Fee

2015-09-05: Submit DS-260

2015-09-07: Sent AOS and IV package via EP

2015-10-11: Resubmit via EP after being told to do so on 2015-10-09 as it looked like our original emails were lost

2015-10-16: Received email for scan date of 2015-10-12. Told that basically nothing can be done and we need to wait 30 days from 2015-10-12 (30+ days lost because they lost our emails)

2015-10-26: Told case is basically complete but that they are building my electronic file. Told there is no timeline for this.

2015-10-30 & 2015-11-13: Still told no update. Building electronic file still and no timeline.

2015-11-17: Case Complete

2015-12-03: Receive packet 4

2015-12-15: Medical

2015-12-18: Medical picked up results

2016-01-12: Interview - Approved!

2016-02-03: POE

Scan date 10/22 still waitingggggggggg. Looking forward to CC this Monday. ????

Same scan date here, let's hope Monday is a good day all around! I still have some small hope for a December interview even though I don't think it's very likely.

Just got an email today that they received our package on Nov. 17.. now the wait begins again..☺

My IV and AOS fees were paid on 14/11 and still in progress too! What is happening? They say it should only take 2-3 business days to process the payment!!!

NVC received our file on the 26th of October and they scanned it on the 30th. We called today but case number and IIN is still not available. Unfortunately it seems like it may take 30 - 42 days so it might take that long for you as well.

Whats really sad though is after NVC is completed, we may wait up to 180 days just for an interview to be scheduled. Scheduling an interview at the U.S embassy in Amman on average takes three times longer than the average of other countries. I have looked at the process of the last 6 couple from jordan who have already received their interview and average waiting time is about 120 days :(

Mariannamaui,

There are around 3 to 4 folks (including me) on VJ here who is waiting for the IV fee status to change from "In Process" to "PAID" since 8 or 9 days. Could be that either they are playing a trick to catch up on their backlog of cases or a system glitch !
