Its a link.......... after you are done with the review portion and are to sign the document that is when there should be something about the us military act.

Unfortunately the error message appears before the review portion (that I cannot access at all). In other words I get to the Application Error page as soon as I click on 'Review'

OMG! My day started so well today...we have got a case number and invoice :joy::joy::joy::joy:

I am so lost now, though. I saw on the NVC website that the first step is to choose an agent. With that in mind, I then went to the wiki posted on the first page of this thread and it´s just so helpful but the screenshots there indicate that I will need a Beneficiary ID in order to choose an agent but I wasn´t given one when I called NVC this morning. Where can I find it?

Any enlightment and guidance will be more than welcome and appreciated.

Good luck to all of us.

Congrats! You will not need the BIN in order to complete the DS-261 form, you will need the case number and the invoice number only.

Sohisami,

Good you're making progress. Mine took 24hrs to show "Paid" and DS260 was also available. So you need to give it a day or two. Good luck!

After sending in Documents, should I expect 30 days for CC and then an additional 30 days for Interview dates?

Currently, It takes a little more than 30days from scan dates say (30-34days)Maybe be cos of the Holiday and backlogs. Yes, you might be lucky to get your CC on or before day 30. For your consulate, it seems you guys are pretty must fast for interview appointments.

Hi ravi88! My checklist scan date was 14th of October and got my CC on the 16th of Nov. So, if i'm correct you should be getting your CC around the 21st of Nov. That's Saturday. Worse case scenario you'll get an answer on the 23rd of Nov. Good luck!

Thank you so much! Is the DS-261 the choice of agent?

I understand then that all I have to do is to login to the CEAC website and click on "start process" and the system will guide me through the first step?

30 days-ish for CC if everything's good, and then anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks to know your interview date.

Go to the December Interview thread, and click on dwheels' spreadsheet (link in sig or first post) and you can sort by country to see how long people have been waiting to get their dates and to have their actual interviews.

Congratulations.

But note to everyone. Soon as AOS fee is paid to get through faster cut down the process send both AOS and IV together after AOS is paid. You do not have to wait for IV also to be paid. That's too much time ideal.

Does this also apply for electronic processing? I can understand why you would do it for normal processing but just wondering if it would be a good idea to do the same for electronic processing as well.
