Wow congrats lonelaC, i am so happy for you as i have been folowing you timeline from your first scan date, ...... surely they are really working now, i am hoping to hear goodnews as eegards mine as my scan date is 16th oct, wishing all waiting for cc best of luck..................

Thank you elliotrick23! I know you have, you were the first one to congratulate me last time when we got a false alarm :) You should hear soon about your case as well. Yesterday was review for 13th and 14th of Oct scan dates (from what I have seen here on the forum). I'm hoping yours is coming as well by the end of the week! Fingers crossed!

Have you called to ask for updates before the 3rd N/A appear? Or just waited?

Have you been under supervisor ?

Our scan date is October 16th, we called but were advised to wait a couple of days since there was a hloiday last week

Thank you dr_medovet! Well yes, and yes to your questions. Our situation was like this: first scan date was back in September, then we got a checklist on the 2nd of October. We called them and explained to them that the checklist makes no sense since we sent the papers that they were saying that are missing. We then asked for a supervisor review, which was set on the 5th of October.

In the meantime we kept calling, and one of the nice reps advised to re-send the missing documents, which we did. That's how we got the new scan date of 14th of October. Yesterday, 16th of November, around midday, I called to ask for updates, since it was the 33rd day and the 41 day being under supervisor review. The nice rep (coincidence or not, was the same guy that told us to resend the documents) said he'll put a note on our case and he'll make sure to have his supervisor look at our case that very same day. Obviously I didn't believe him :) But guess he actually got someone to have a look on our case, cause otherwise I can't explain how come in a matter of hours my case went from not being even pulled out for review to have it Completed.

Thanks for the response and lets hope that this will be the last 2 weeks at the NVC. My case has been over a year including the USCIS and NVC process and now I am eagerly waiting for it to be over.

Just got off the phone with NVC. Finally the guy told me that our case is complete...I had to ask him like 3 times because I didn't believe him. Because he said "Well it looks like we have everything

LonelaC, you have been through alot of things, so happy that you got your case completed wishing quick interview date and being together with your partner before the christmas !!

8/22/2015: NOA2 received via mail

NVC:

9/8/2015: NVC received the case

9/22/2015: got case number and invoice number via phone

9/22/2015: submitted DS-261 Choice of agent

9/22/2015: paid AOS fee $120 - IN PROCESS

9/24/2015: AOS fee shows PAID

9/28/2015: NVC Welcome Letter is received (issued on Sept 21st)

10/1/2015: AOS package sent to NVC

10/5/2015: AOS package delivered to NVC

Confirmed just now!!!! CASE COMPLETED as of yesterday, 16th of November 2015!!! Yaaaayyyy! So happy!

Hello to everyone !
a quick question , I never had a criminal procedure in my life not even a speed ticket , do I still need to go to the court and ask to issue me a letter saying I am clean ,or my police certificate is enough because in it is writing that I dont have a criminal background ?

Hi besarta! Your police certificate should be enough! Just make sure you get it translated in english by an authorized translator.

I've never heard about going to court and ask for a letter stating that one doesn't have a criminal record. May I ask where have you heard about that?

I see... Well, my thoughts to you, since you have both anyways, get that court record translated and send it as well. Can't hurt! It can only help you at this point. Just make sure you send photocopies and not originals :)

Hey Guys,

This is going to be my first post on VJ, but i have followed all the posts for the IR1/CR1 processes and timelines which have been very helpful to me as i had done all the paper work on my own. Thank you for all the posts that people have posted and all the responses to the same. This forum has been very helpful to me and has given me a lot of hope for my own process.

I just had a quick question if any one could possibly help for. I am the beneficiary on the case and my wife is a US citizen. My scan date for the NVC has been the 21st of Oct. By when should i expect a case complete as every time i have called the NVC they have said my file has not been opened yet to be reviewed. Any help for the same would be much appreciated.

After a long wait of 3 weeks i received my case number yesterday on 11/16 and today this morning i submitted DS261, right after that I spoke to customer service and she went over and reviewed my DS261 as well, also she told me that i can send my I864 (AOS forms) and other civil documents with cover sheet which will be available as soon as I pays AOS fees online, this afternoon i received couple of emails from NVC with welcome letter, and fees invoice, which i paid right away online.

Now I have documents cover sheet available, should i send my documents and forms (AOS and IV package) now, or should i wait for AOS and IV fees to be PAID and then send the Package.
