Thanks for your input.

So, if I am understanding you correctly, the NVC welcome letter is the first contact an applicant has with NVC unless he/she was proactively involved with phone calls.

Only in some cases.

Hey guys just got our NOA2 on the 6th of this month Feels good to finally be here after that dreadful wait lol

Thanks for the response and lets hope that this will be the last 2 weeks at the NVC. My case has been over a year including the USCIS and NVC process and now I am eagerly waiting for it to be over.

Just got off the phone with NVC. Finally the guy told me that our case is complete...I had to ask him like 3 times because I didn't believe him. Because he said "Well it looks like we have everything

My scan date is Oct. 13th (today being the 28th day since the scan date). Did anyone receive case completes around this date?

Hi there! Well, it's actually the 31st day :) And yes, there was someone here that got CC exactly 2 days ago. You should definitely call today and ask for an update. Keep us posted! P.S: my scan date is 14th of Oct so 1 day after you :) and I'm so calling them later :)) Good luck!

Hey, guys! My scan datу at NVC is also 13th of October and my husband called them recently and he was told that it takes 30-45 days now to get response from NVC about your case. Or maybe we should try to get another agent that would be more helpful?)))))

6/13/2015: Delivered to Chicago Lockbox

6/15/2015: Petition is accepted by USCIS (California)

6/17/2015: NOA1 received via email/text

6/23/2015: NOA1 received via mail

8/18/2015: USCIS approved petition online - 63 days from NOA 1

8/22/2015: NOA2 received via mail

NVC:

9/8/2015: NVC received the case

9/22/2015: got case number and invoice number via phone

9/22/2015: submitted DS-261 Choice of agent

9/22/2015: paid AOS fee $120 - IN PROCESS

9/24/2015: AOS fee shows PAID

9/28/2015: NVC Welcome Letter is received (issued on Sept 21st)

10/1/2015: AOS package sent to NVC

10/5/2015: AOS package delivered to NVC

10/5/2015: SCAN DATE for AOS package

10/6/2015: confirmed DS-261 over the phone

10/7/2015: email from NVC - husband is chosen as agent and IV fee is invoiced

10/8/2015: paid IV fee $325 - IN PROCESS

10/8/015: IV package sent to NVC

10/10/2015: IV fee shows PAID

10/11/2015: submitted DS-260 and got confirmation

10/13/2015: IV package delivered to NVC

10/13/2015: SCAN DATE for IV package

11/24/2015: Case Complete at NVC

12/2/2015: Case Complete letter from NVC

EMBASSY:

2/10/2016: Interview scheduled for March 15th 2016 :dancing:

Medical exam scheduled on March 14th 2016

2/10/2016: Interview Letter Received (P4)

2/16/2016: CEAC shows CASE IN TRANSIT

2/18/2016: CEAC shows READY

3/14/2016: medical exam passed

3/15/2016: interview - APPROVED! Status ISSUED - Your visa has been printed.

3/17/2016: call from Pony Express - visa is delivered to my town

POE:

4/19/2016: Moscow - New York - Atlanta

Just call again, and do it now. They open the lines in 5 minutes. Usually, from what i noticed and what other VJs said, the customer reps in the morning are more helpful and they seem to know what they are talking about :) Good luck!

wait time was not so bad either :)

well, spoke to a very nice service rep named valerie and said today was actually the 30th day. she said no matter, she'll put it under supervisor's review and have it reviewed today. whether thats true or not, we'll see.

no mention of the new 30 to 45 day window.

i'll post back later.

Have you called them and have them review it with you on the phone. I have advised 3 people this week who just submitted 2 weeks ago they got reviewed on phone. It's s tip on the wiki I had added. Call tomorrow.

Try tonight or tomorrow night!

I was lucky to get mine unlocked after 12 days, by calling at night and receiving a different agent than usual.

I do not want to ruin your hopes or anything like that, but from own experience I know that supervisor review is BS... It'll take 42 days to review... And some of us, not even after 42 days being under supervisor review we did not get an answer.

I hope that won't be the case in your situation! Make sure you call again later today!

I called today too scan date is oct 13.. Rep is not so helpful and sounds rude.. Told them its been more than 30 days since review but she insisted that monday would be my actual 30 days and i have to wait till then.. Coz they are not done with the review bssss

Don't worry! Call later, in a few hrs maybe and see what they will say. Sometimes you to get reps that are not helpful at all! Don't get discouraged by that though, just keep calling. I'll give them couple more hrs and I will call as well.
