Thats awesome, do you know if they contact by phone, email or both? i have an outdated phone number and need to update, who should i update this with now? Thanks for your reply.

They normally contact by phone and then they will e-mail to confirm the appointment date.

I would send the immigrant section of the Embassy and e-mail and inform them.

if the original I-864 was sent to the NVC, can we bring the copy of the I-864 tout the interview?

Based on what I have read here, you need to have a I-864 with an orginal signature, not a copy.

I'm sure either is fine. I wouldn't use anything other than blue or black. I signed in black.

I think I may have had an error one time but I don't recall why or what was done.

Was able to log in and could select a return transcript. That is a weird one. He didn't maybe choose account transcript did he?

Most likely the NVC will not goof up and will send it in the package they send to the Embassy. However, unfortunately all type of things happen. I don't think they will accept the copies if it comes down to it. However, if that is all you can get then they may excuse you.

Where did he get stuck? Was he able to select like in the attached?

Not sure if it is a browser issue or something. Only thing that comes to mind if either you try it from your end, or he try another browser.

We tried different browsers. He tried on his PC at home with Google Chrome and Firefox. Didn't work. Then, I tried from here with Explorer, Firefox and Safari and I'm getting the same error.

Also, he tried to call and he got the same error over the phone as well.

That is weird. You tried clearing cookies from the computer and trying.

His SSN should be recognized.

Make sure he's entering the address he lived at when he filed exactly as it is on the tax return. For eg my address number is building 7 ap 05. Normally entered #7-05 but for taxes I entered it #7 apt 05 When I tried to get the transcript I forgot and entered it the wrong way so I got an error message. Use the info on the copies you have and enter it exactly as written. Use a different browser if possible.

The other suggestion is to call and speak to a rep. I forgot the options but it's a little tricky to get a human. Google it and press until you get one-they are helpful at resolving it. Tip-if he has a fax number and he's really nice they will fax it to him so he doesn't have to wait.

If nothing else works go to the local office. Go now before tax season starts. They should be able to provide the transcripts or atleast resolve the issue.

Maybe there is a limit on how many times you can request the transcripts in a certain period of time.

UPDATE~ Nope that's not the problem! I was just able to request mine, and had already done so in October.

There are having issues on being able to log in. They are having problems logging in to request the transcript. Log in problems.

I think Kamw mentioned the possible issue.

As to the possible limit, who knows but hopefully we won't need that many to find out.

Thanks, I didn't see her screen shot of the log in issue before I posted my response. This is odd since they just requested them not that long ago.

Honestly, the transcripts they send don't look any different then the copies I made. Too bad there's no way of knowing for sure if the embassy will accept the copies.
