when I go to ECAC, I have this new message that reads .... Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov(English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask. .......

is this normal?

Are we supposed to receive an instruction package form our respective embassies prior to the interview or do we only receive the P4 letter from NVC?Thanks.

I don't think you should get anything from the Embassy as NVC handled the scheduling.

Can I already have my medical at st Luke's my interview is on dec 15th or I have to wait a week before my interview?

You can have your medical at St. Luke's as soon as you receive your appointment letter in your email. You have to print the interview email and bring it to your medical.

Hi everyone!

I have a situation here... My husband is having difficulties in getting his IRS tax transcripts. The story goes like this: when we were gathering the documents for the AOS package he was able to get all of his transcripts for the previous 3 years. Right. Our mistake is that we sent the originals to NVC and I only have copies of them right now. I was trying to be cautious and told my husband to get the transcripts again and mail them to me.

When he tried to do that he was getting an error saying that the information that he provided does not match any of their records. We've been trying for 3 weeks now to get them. By mail and by phone. Same issue all the time. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Any of you guys had a similar issue??

My other question is: do I really need to have the originals at the interview or the copies that I have will work?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

The Embassy will contact the spouse in Mexico and inform them of the interview date and time. This call may come in the next couple days.

Congratulations on your expedite request going through. Things are going to be moving so get ready lol.

Greetings,

I think I may have had an error one time but I don't recall why or what was done.

I went here: https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof-tra/start.do;jsessionid=JG9NOW+f+kcnzfYFXn0q8FfN

Was able to log in and could select a return transcript. That is a weird one. He didn't maybe choose account transcript did he?

Most likely the NVC will not goof up and will send it in the package they send to the Embassy. However, unfortunately all type of things happen. I don't think they will accept the copies if it comes down to it. However, if that is all you can get then they may excuse you.

Where did he get stuck? Was he able to select like in the attached?
