LOL, I just called NVC, no interview,

re madhouse, this is the answer as to why no email confirmation of CC "mm, I think we don't send Case Complete confirmation emails, you will receive confirmation email after interview is scheduled" we all know this is bs.

How many days before the interview can you have your medical examination? Does the doctor submit anything from the examination directly to the embassy even though your exam is ok? Or do you get everything you need that day to take with you to your interview?

I was told something similar. They made it seem like I was referring to something that doesn't exist. Another name is a status letter.

Supposedly they put in a request multiple time for me to get one after I requested. All of a sudden It seems they can't send me an e-mail

Holy cow NVC! What a cluster-eff for denying the existence of CC confirmation.

They are incredibly inconsistent.

At mrandmrsBRS,

My CC is the 18th Sept and I got an email 7 days later AND physical post 3 weeks after my CC to confirm my CC.

I then called to ask about my interview date and was told on the phone that my case had been reopened for further admin, but she was hesitant to confirm my CC. Same thing happened with my friend (which reminds me he had his interview today and got approved!!! And the embassy in London said he should get his passport back within 15 days, which is longer than usual, no?!)

I called a few times and all the operators said my case was open for further admin processing, but then also confirmed the CC.

A week later, I'm feeling really frazzled, I call and ask for a supervisor, who then denies my case was ever under further review. She also says she doesn't know what this administrative processing might have been and that my case has been complete since Sept 18th and that they are still waiting for the embassy to give me a date.

I called again, just in case, and another operator (I wrote down all their names) said CC 09/18.

Which leads me to suspect that there may have been some internal issues?

I just called. Still no interview. I asked whether I w oils receive an email for the case complete or only after interview is scheduled. The operator seemed flustered and took a bit of time to answer and finally said no email was sent. Not exactly the answer to my question. But she did confirm that my case complete and there's nothing I need to worry about, just waiting for an interview. (Maybe I should stop reading others' horror stories on here and stop assuming the worst...)

Hi Renee14, this varies by country I think! you should check your portal or check the NVC site http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/prepare.html to check for the country-specific info :)

Every day I called last week the representative read off the computer that my case complete is October 26. Shouldn't I have received the confirmation email today? 7 days right? It's 3:30pm EST already :/

Hi canuk2usa,

I don't think they've been sending CC emails lately. I never got mine, just for the P4 for the interview.

not supervisors but representatives. THe representative today told me, that she would send our case to a supervisor for review.

Yes, there are three N/A on the ceac website.

Guess I'll have my husband call them when he gets home from work. So frustrating.

I was hoping for an Interview in December...

Hi,

How did you send your documents? Through regular post or email?

If you sent by email, after you get 3 N/As the NVC will need to scan the paper documents you previously sent to USCIS.

For me, it took 25 extra days just for that...

If you sent your documents through regular post I do not think I can help :(
