So...here's the big question.

What should my husband do with all the evidence I submitted to USCIS that he now carries?

He really does not want to pack it with him to the U.S.

Even though I am sure I have digital copies of everything, is there anything he really, really should bring?

I would bring all originals. Although I am not sure, he might need to resubmit some or all original documents sent to USCIS/NVC when he is applying for Naturalization. Inshallah he will be with you soon!

Thank you so much. We really do appreciate the well wishes and consideration.

My wife has her interview today. We have been praying long and hard. We are hoping for a positive outcome.

i'm glad I saw your post, so I can include you in my prayers today. I'm looking forward to your post with the good news.

Hello, wife has interview December 1, I just check the status and says at nvc...interview is in less than 2/weeks..should I be concern??

Sometimes it will say it's at NVC right up until a few days before the interview. You're going to be good to go by the interview date.

A question to guys: what color tie is the best for the interview? )))))

We've been checking my husband's wardrobe to pick the best outfit for our big day, and, since I am wearing a business suit, he should look formal too.

Is he wearing a suit? Go with something that compliments the color and the color of his skin. I would think a solid color blue.

Yes, a black suit. And he does have a solid blue silk tie. I've been looking for the recommendation on the web for the tie color which makes you look more trustworthy, but I didn't find anything.

I would suggest that he wear something nice that he is comfortable in. If a suit is really comfortable for him, go for it. They aren't looking for a sharp dresser, rather, someone who knows what he is talking about.

In an interview red can give the impression of being aggressive in a negative way.

Green can give the impression of being level headed and positive.

Blue can give the impression of being approachable, welcoming and trustworthy.

Yellow can cause a sense of needing to be cautious.

Brown can cause a feeling of being bored or uninteresting.

The solid blue tie is a great choice. :-)

Greetings to the VJ massive.

Thanks for all who included us in their thoughts and prayers.

Not sure what to say about what happened. The positive: my wife's passport was kept. Unfortunately we had to send a document we were supposed to have but had a snafu. I think they should receive it Monday.

It sounds like the interview was short and went smoothly. I will follow up with more details about interview. I heard quite a few had their passport returned to them.

Also it sound like one popular question for the day was "what made you think about dating your husband". My wife said she heard that used more than once.

So we are in AP.

I will be back lol.

Here is the follow up.

My wife's interview was at 7 am. She was done by 9:50 am.

Interview Questions asked:
Tell me about how you met.

How come it took so long before you started dating?

What is it about him that made you want to enter a relationship?

What does he do for a living? Where?

How long has he been there?

The officer who interviewed her seemed nice.
