Transcript are a choice and decision of the CO. Just like any other piece of evidence. For whatever reason what was submitted to NVC wasn't enough for the CO. Remember NVC approves nothing their merely collect. The CO approves the AOS and IV packages. That's why we always say have a copy of AOS package with you at interview and send tax transcripts especially high fraud countries. It's proof you filed. Yes people lie on tax form all you have to do is fill out anything anyone can do a W2.

Good point.

I sent my wife tax transcripts as I don't know what these people are up to. Hopefully no additional request are made at the interview.

THANK YOU, this helps me quite a lot to calm down and just be patient. My stomach has been so twisty-turvy, I can't eat breakfast. So probably he's still stuck in the embassy. Maybe it's like going to a doctor appointment.....we expect to go in within a half hour of our appt time, but we could actually sit around waiting for hours. I'm going to try to eat something. That may help.

I don't know about Egypt, but in Brazil it's strictly forbidden to bring any type of phone inside the embassy. They have an x-ray and full body check at the entrance. With all the mess going on at the Middle East these days, I think it should be about the same in his embassy.

The funny thing about Brazil is that outside the embassy there is a bunch of people who provide the service of guarding your cell phone for you. They wear uniforms and charge around 3 dollars.

haaa they probably make quite a tidy side profit from "guarding" phones!

For my wife's interview, can we bring a copy of the affidavit of support OR does she need to fill a new one out? Because it says on the website it just needs an original signature...

5 HOURS after my husband was supposed to have his interview, they finally called him in. He sat in the embassy all this time! By the time he called me, I was a nervous wreck and was googling home remedies for nausea caused by anxiety!

When he called, he told me he was kept waiting all that time and had just got his phone and was able to call.....then our call cut and it took 15 minutes to get back in touch! I was FREAKING OUT because I still didn't know the results!.......Finally I have learned that we are...........

APPROVED!!!!!!!!

This is a miracle for us, on account of the FBI thing. When someone (which I'm sure was family members of mine!) filed a FALSE FBI report that my husband is a terrorist (they are against me marrying a Muslim), a full blown FBI and NSA investigation was launched. When I was interviewed by an FBI agent in late September, he told me not to expect my husband to be able to come to the USA for a very long time, because they would have to make quite sure the report was truly false before he could be approved. Since then I have been in such major PRAYER to break this stronghold that was quite effectively put up to keep us apart! GOD ANSWERS FERVENT PRAYER even in awful circumstances!

Indeed he does answer fervent prayers. There is no doubt about that. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yay! I remember your K1 story, I can only imagine how hard this must have been for you.

My family is also not super happy about my husband, but it's because I'm leaving a very good job to be with him. Probably your husband was approved because the FBI/NSA cleared him already. Congratulations!

Thank you so much! I'm so happy, I have been bawling like a baby since my husband told me the amazing news. The last texts I ever got from my youngest brother said, "I doubt Ali is ever going to be in the USA again so good luck, you're going to need it." ......Now I'm just laughing for joy.

Thank you! It really has been an awful ordeal.

I hope your family will soon realize that a good job can't compare to a good marriage. When we're old and living the last twilight years of our lives, none of us are going to reminisce with a warm heart about good jobs we had. It will only be the warm relationships that will make us smile and give us comfort.
