NVC is closed today and I think tomorrow....hope you get your good news soon.

As far as I know only November 11 is a federal holiday. They should be back to work tomorrow.

Congratulations to all who have their date of interview. we expected, we tried a expedite yesterday.

I wonder if it's possible to ask after the interview has come to collect the passport to the embassy once affixed visa.

All you an do is ask when that tie comes. I know some who have asked at varies embassy and got them same day or next day. But they asked. (and some begged LOL)

Hi all, congratulations to everyone with interview dates and approvals! its nice to know allot of families will reunite soon, i have a question, im under supervisor review :/ would it be a good idea to talk to one, would that speed things up?

There's no speeding up. Talking to a supervisor doesn't do that. But do call see whats up. How long has it been?

i see, its only been 2 weeks hehe :devil: , but our case has been there for 7 months due to them loosing documents, i called and they said that it looks like they have everything they need, they sent us a checklist for 2014 taxes they said i shouldnt send but take to the interview, but some how CC has not been completed which is why case was flagged for supervisor review :clock: , i hope we are not one of the scary supervisor review storys ive read about.

I did but I doubt because the operator told me I should get it next week....so I wasn't expecting it until next week....but I am glad I received it today ....now its official....so relieved..now hope the interview is easy breeze and goes well... so I can have husband with me first week of January....I can't believe we will be reunited in less than 2 months :) :) :) Edited by SeemaMayank

Well seeing they made the error and kept you there forever I would most def tell them they have to expedite your case. They don't like people to know when they mess up they are to expedite but just nicely ask them "well since it was your mistake I get expedited for interview right? Cuz others that were at NV when aI started are done".

It's never consistent. That's why we call. Last month it was 2 to 4 days. Month before tat a week. A few months before that within minutes. people didn't even have to call. It just is very inconsistent.
