Thank you .... I am on cloud 9 right now...I woke my husband up to tell him ...I am just so so happy right now...finally I see light at the end of the tunnel . ..can't believe I can start the countdown to the day I see my love again....

Waiting for interview email now.

So - I finally got a competent NVC operator who looked into my file and realised they have made a mistake.

I was originally supposed to interview in Dublin and was transferred to London - we lived in Ireland, but moved and I'm British - so they gave me CC 09/18 and forgot to take the processing hold off of my case.

The wonderful person at NVC said he was suprised I still hadn't received my interview, London isn't crazy busy like many other embassies. AND BECAUSE ANOTHER SUPERVISOR HAD ALREADY LOOKED INTO MY FILE AND NOT SPOTTED THE MISTAKE. He said he could see I had called 8 times and requested a supervisor, looking for answers/updates.

So he has contacted another Supervisor and put me on supervisor review.

He says a Dec interview isn't likely at this point, but at least I'm no longer lost in the NVC vaults.

I'm frustrated but also relieved to have answers!

Congrats to all the ones getting interviews! Never give up hope and keep calling NVC. Now tou blessed ones go and start gathering all the documents you will need. And Lets start a chain of prayers for the ones still waiting so they get a date assigned soon!

Congrats guys for the interview dates. I too called but nothing yet :( anyone know how long will u receive the email p4 letter after the interview is schedule? I should just wait for an email the calling them all the time :)

No Luck Bond just now I called and still no interview. does the IR1/CR1 differs from F2a I dont know how the NVC schedules the interview.

@dwheels76 is there any difference in scheduling interview for F2a and IR1/CR1?

Yes you are a different category. IR1/CR1 means a US citizen petitioned them. Every embassy alots slots for different Visa types.

My wife's interview has been scheduled as well!

December 16.

Very exciting, but unfortunately this might mess up our holiday plans since my wife is supposed to fly to the US on December 23 for a 2+ week vacation for Christmas.

Guess we'll have to contact the embassy once they receive the documents to see if it's possible to move it up, otherwise we'll just have to figure something out.

Hypothetical question - does anyone know what would happen if she has an interview on Dec 16, but official approval is not available by Dec 23. Can she get her passport back and fly to the US on her tourist visa, or would it be cancelled at the interview?
