Some sort of additional processing/ sup. review/ they-don't-know-what-it-is-and-there-is-no-timeline: 12th Nov. 2015

Interview scheduled on 28th Dec. 2015

Interview Date: 1st Feb. 2016

What did she have to say?

Noting same old thing Petitioner, Beneficiary, Agent and Attorney(if any) will receive email once Interview scheduled. and said Don't get nervous you are closer than six month before. :clock:

Hey guys, I've got a question... My husband and I celebrated our 2nd year of marriage last August 9, but from all correspondences with NVC, our visa category is still listed as CR1. When would it change to IR1? After the interview, upon the issuance of visa? Or upon point of entry? I would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this matter. Thank you all in advance!!

APPROVED!!!!

Just got done with my interview in Islamabad. Everything went well by grace of God :) Asked very few simple questions:

1. Is it first marriage for both of you? I said yes

2. What does your husband do?

3. Was it arranged or love?

4. When did he visit last time?

Didn't ask for any additional documents whatsoever...very smooth and quick process it was for me and my husband Alhamdulillah :)

How many days before the interview should I get my medical done, my embassy is Islamabad.

Some say within 4 weeks and some say within 2 weeks.

whenever you want after you get your interview letter. Doesn't really matter unless you are going to prolong your stay after you get Visa.

My husband just received a CC email from NVC! It's dated November 5, but the supervisor we talked to told us that our CC date was October 29.

That's just when the letter comes. Which is always 7 days after CC. You are fine.

It will remain CR1. Means nothing remind CO at interview. Remind CBP at POE.
