Good day, please advise me here. The AOS fee bill has being invoiced and paid for? Please how long will I wait for the IV fee bill to be invoiced,so that the can pay for it and send both package together with NVC.

OR since I have paid the AOS fee and all necessary documents filled, should be mail it to NVC while waiting forward the IV fee to be invoiced.

Thanks

Once your AOS appears as PAID, call the NVC and ask to review your DS-261 which is the choice of agent on the phone.

After it is reviewed, you will then get an email in 2-3 days with your IV invoice generated..

Both packages should be sent now since you paid the AOS fee. This will save you a month at least of time. Don;t wait around for IV fee.

When did you submit DS-261. If its been about 1 to 2 weeks call NVC to have the oper review with you on phone. They will unlock the IV fee. Then the DS-2609 will be there also. All this happening while your packages are being reviewed. Doing it this way you could be done under 20 days. So send in packages now. Hope you have police report at the ready.

Thanks for the advice Dwheels! I am at this stage also and the phone rep at NVC tells me i can send the aos package but not the combined package as that may delay the review period since it would be placed on hold for later review. All which made no sense to me because ideally hubby would have completed the ds260 by the time they receive the combined package.

yes you can send both packets after you paid the aos fees and before the Ds-261 choice of agent has been review and the IV fee has been paid

after you send the packets just keep calling the NVC to have them review the DS-261. Once they do that the IV fee will be unlock then you can paid that fee and fill out the DS-260 visa application

If you notice my signature, that is how i did it and it save some time

You only need one of the bar code cover sheet. either the aos or the Iv

Since the aos fees has been paid use that one and send both packets together in one envelope to the address on the aos bar code cover sheet

That is how I did it for my wife. I had no problems. My wife is here with me now. She arrived in U.S this past june

The bar code cover sheets are the same. Same address the only difference is the department is different. The NvC will place the packets in the right department
