Unsure if this makes you feel better, but we found two guides which seem to say question 15 isn't vital to complete... pinch of salt and all...

Teamme show,

Nice video indeed. But I have one question. I read somewhere that they don't like the 3 punch hole on the side, they prefer and appreciate it if the punch hole done on top! Any comments on this? Did you include birth certificate for the fiance or that is done later when she goes for the interview?

Hey everyone, my birth certificate has nothing on the back so i did not send a copy of the back (as it would just be a blank piece of paper)...do you guys think that's grounds for an RFE?

Packet 3, is the first letter sent from the embassy, usually after they receive the case file from NVC, who receive it from USCIS. It typically gives direction of next steps, such as medical, etc.

Packet 4, is the second letter from the embassy, this typically identifies what process to follow for the interview, and potentially the time slot assigned to you, as in the UK.

Is it better to have a lawyer?

If I can do it, you can do it...lol...I am almost done with my and I will be filing by next week...

I don't think you need a lawyer to do the paper work. Even if you hire a lawyer, you have to do most of the work yourself which is the hardest part "Gathering all the documents and paperwork" then the rest is pretty easy.

Good evening all! i am about to send offf my initial packet for the k-1 visa, and have a couple of questions. 1.) does it matter if i send my packet to cali or texas? i ask because it seems cali processes faster. I live in florida and my fiance' is in Jamaica.

2.) should i send my proof of support at this time?

So if people could decide themselves why would anybody send it to Texas when Cali is faster????

NO, you don't decide yourself. And you send it to the Lockbox in Texas not the service center and they will route it to the service center at this point it's only Cali there does the I-129F.

And no support is for the interview.

Thank you for that master list! This is a great thread.

I didn't complete form G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance but do plan to sign up online with USCIS for case status notification once I receive my NOA1. I'm wondering for those who received E-notification of their RFE, will that allow me to be notified by email if I am issued a RFE? Or was the G-1145 Form required for that?
