Do you mind sharing what your RFE was for and the evidence you responded with?

Hi Everyone,

So My fiancee received the RFE on Feb 06,2016 (Saturday) and there was an envelop in it to be used for sending the post back to CSC.

I would like to know if that Envelopment is paid for priority service or normal standard service byt the CSC.

My fiancee went to the post office Feb 08, 2016 (Monday) and just paid extra 21 cents and got the receipt but no tracking number.

Can anyone tell me when ask we expect CSC to receive our post. Many Thanks

We've been in a holding pattern on our RFE since before Christmas. Received one claiming that AsianDating.com was an IMB and asking for the signed release. Instead, I sent in a letter stating we had no such release and that the site was not an IMB. I also supplied a printout of the website's Terms of Service with the relevant parts stating it's not an IMB highlighted, as well as a response from AsianDating's customer service explicitly explaining that they are not an IMB and providing a detailed explanation of why they don't meet the IMB description.

RFE response received on 12/21, and no word since then. Given that this seemed like such a routine RFE, we're both going kind of nuts as we watch everyone else who was an October filer move on. And now, even, similar RFEs getting processed and 129s moving on.

It's been a while since I posted here but just wanted to update that things are finally starting to move forward. I had my medical in London last Wednesday and had already completed my readiness form so just waiting to hear back from the embassy now. The next uncertainty is how long the wait for the interview will be...

Fingers crossed that it will all be completed by Easter. That would make it a 13 month process!!!

Thanks so much, I wish I would have read this before I sent my I-129F off. I made a few mistakes despite trying to cross all my Ts. Do you think I will get an RFE If I only sent the flight receipts and itinerary from the airline and stamps on our passports for our visits within the last two years? Neither one of us could find the actual boarding passes.

I also did not copy both sides of my birth certificate.

his passport photos were just photocopies of actual passport photos that he scanned and emailed me. is that cause for an RFE?

He has a tourist visa, but we did not send a copy of that with our petition, should we have??

We didn't provide boarding passes--I just included all of my flight itineraries and hotel bookings. I didn't even include passport stamps, but at least one of the flight bookings had both of our names on it, since we flew together.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure not providing both sides of your birth certificate and not providing original photos (which the form clearly states is required) put you at risk for an RFE. You've gotta follow all the instructions.

Meanwhile, for the thread, our 129 was approved on February 12. Apparently posting about our long wait jostled the universe to get our petition approved on the same day. I should post on VJ more often!

Since he didn't send you the real pictures. Did he then not send you a wet signature on G-325A and Letter intent to marry?

But you might get lucky :)

Looking at the form, I'm actually convinced we missed it as well... and don't have access to the copy to check.

It's so hidden lol.
