No additional papers other than the blue piece of paper that we need to send back with the photos. The letter says "REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE". The article 8 C.F.R 103.2(b)(11) is the general provision from the quoted law that's the same for an RFE and notification of intent to deny. I'm a bit confused myself so was hoping someone that has gotten the same RFE would respond.

ok , understood so all what they need from you is a US passport photograph size within the US specification, I would send them this right after reading this answer. good luck an dont be affraid the

Thank you for posting this and the picture!  The wording on a lot of these forms makes me very anxious. It's very confusing for me as well.  I'm hoping others will post what they have experienced and how they've dealt with specific RFE's as well.

dont be confused and waste time on thinking, just give them what they ask for. we had a RFE asking to submit proof that petitioner and beneficiary met in person within 2 years which we had supplied in the intial package of I-129 form but apparently USCIS when losing your papers they ask you to submit additional papers so they cover themselves and not showing you how they lost your or part of your file.Consulsion answer them in a timely manner and give them what they ask for even if you did before. infact we got approved after 5 days.

I am actually very confused as after submitting the I129 form, we realized we had missed 3 boxes. So we have 3 unchecked boxes: marital status #15, have i ever visited USA and the street i live on in my native language. They don't address any of it in the RFE. So now the question would be, should we send the missed stuff in addition to the photos that they are asking for. We would not want to get a second RFE for the things we know we missed the first time around.

I did this as well!!!  When I looked back through my application after mailing it just to double-check (for the hundredth time!😬) , I realized I had forgotten a signature and not checked one box.

If they did not mention it on the RFE , I would not bring it to their attention. But I understand being nervous about getting another RFE

I really don't know what to do in this situation. I'm just going to wait  to see if I get one and what it is for and answer only what they ask me about.

It's a real dilemma. We already got one RFE so i would not want to get a second. But providing only what they ask for and hoping you won't get a second one is too much to handle. Maybe we'll hear something from people that have been through it.

Hello, we just got the rfe in the mail, and I'm interested if you can tell me, based on the document attached, are they asking us for a passport size photo only as the language is confusing. Thanks in advance

@Elisaveta in my opinion, you'll only need to provide the passport style photos.

May I ask what do you think made the 1st passport photo of the petitioner to get an RFE? Is there anything that wasn't followed in the description attached?

**CSC Stage**
April 14, 2017 - Date sent
April 19, 2017 - Date received
June 01, 2017 - Requested USCIS to resend the NOA1 (missing NOA1)
June 11, 2017 - NOA1 hard copy received
Sept 20, 2017 - Case approved (case tracker and email notification)

Waiting for NOA2 hard copy...

**NVC/Embassy Stage**

I don't know why the first photos were not acceptable. He used the same photos he used for his passport renewal but somehow the actual passport photo was not accepted by USCIS. I am also leaning towards sending the photos only.

I just scheduled my interview this coming August 24, 2017. Do i need to bring all the documents that we send to NVC during our applications? And what are the other documents needed to present?

What documents did you send to NVC? All documents are sent to USCIS during the i129 pettition for alien fiance.
