Re-entering the US on an ESTA 2 months after a J visa

Hi all,

I'm just looking for some peace of mind as I've managed to get myself worked up lol.

I recently spent 3 and a half months in the US on a J Visa from the 1st of June to the 15th of September. While working in the US, I met a girl and we're now in a relationship.

I'm heading out to see her for 6 days next week and I just want to confirm that everything should go okay? I have a job that are willing to provide an official document stating that I intend to return to work as well as my flight itinerary and proof that I've been employed by the same company for nearly 5 years.

P.S Will this and another short term visit impact my chances of obtaining another J visa for next June?

I would not expect you to have any issues with either.

If you had said 90 day visit and no job, well that would be different.

1/2 to be specific, Mother from GlynNeath. I do support Wales at Rugby, my Grandad would have been mortified otherwise.

I remember going to see Swansea as a kid when the terraces went all the way around and there were no internal barriers.

Chelsea Liverpool on now and I will be at a Kiwi friends for the Rugby.
