Hello all,

I got some questions about Form I-864. In the below statment, what is Form 1099? Do I have to include 1099 from bank account interests? and also from my 1099 stocks (stock investments, profits and loses)? These are just minor investments that I have made during mylife and should this be included along with my W-2 (recent 3 years)?

"If you provide a photocopy of your tax return(s), you must include acopy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your return(s). Do not include copies of these Forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your return(s) rather than a photocopy."

Thank you everyone for being so greatful to help one another.

It's either/or because some people get one, some get the other and some get both. W-2's are from an employer - where you work; the 1099 covers "other" income.

each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your return(s).

A tax return is not considered complete without all income documents, but as the excerpt quoted in the OP's first post suggests, if using a tax transcript instead of a copy of the return itself, no 1099s or W2s will be necessary.
