I'm flying to US through LAX on monday, just a few questions regarding the cbp declaration form.

On question 15 what line shoud I use? visitors or residents. and it is okay if I just put $ 0 there and leave the back of the form blank?

Or should I put personal effects on the back and value it as $0 . All I'm bringing are mostly personal stuff ( soaps, facial wash , etc) plus ofcourse pasalubong haha dried fish and sweets.

I already researched online but I' m getting mixed answers . Pls clarify thanks ??

You don't have to list your personal effects that you are bringing for your own use, like your clothes and toiletries. Anything other than your personal belongings, such as gifts, would need to be listed. You will need to check yes on #11 for the food you are bringing in.

What about personal jewelries, watches and handbags. I don't have the receipts of these things anymore. Do I need to put an estimated amount?

Personal items that belong to you, and that you intend to keep, do not need to be listed. Items you bring as gifts or to sell would need to be listed.

And as mentioned already, food.

Congrats on your success so far, good luck on the next steps!
