Don't wait for a postal package from the embassy. My fiancé took his medical yesterday and he still hasn't received a package by mail. As soon as I had his case # and NVC sent the petition, I emailed the embassy asking that they email a copy of packet 3 and the response was immediate. If you search this site you will find a thread where someone shared the wording if their email to the embassy. Hope this helps.

You won't get a packet. All there is is a checklist of documents you need to bring to the interview and medical exam and DS160 instructions. Email the embassy and ask for the checklist. You may be able to find one pinned in the JA portal too.

Best of Luck!

Sorry to crash this post. I had a few questions. We have been at the NVC since beginning of this week (K1) and we would like to be able to see what's available at our embassy for appointments to see how far out they are. Also, I know the medical is good for 6 months and you want the results in time for the interview, but is there such a thing as getting it done too far in advance of the interview? I also wonder how long it takes to get in for the medical in Kingston? Does both the visa application and interview have to be scheduled prior to the medical or just the visa application done online? Many questions in one, sorry and thank you in advance. Y'all are very knowledgable!

Shadea18..no you will not receive anything from the embassy in Jamaica. The interview letter sent to you by NVC has all the instructions that you will need. Now you need to schedule the medical exam, you can either fill out the medical form on the day of the appointment or you can use the medical form with the instructions I attached to this post.

You are IR2 you will not have a confirmation page from setting up interview. All you need is a copy of your interview appointment letter and you can print the medical form i attached in a previous post to complete and take.
