Canadian immigration question (split thread)

Hii everybody how are you doing? I'm Debe from Ethiopia and I have one question to help me to all of the user of the site thank you!

Q1. I apply for a permanent resident visa for immigration to Canada through marriage on April, 2015 but in my sponsors refugee file to Canada she declared that she had been married in 1995 G.C in traditional marriage in ethiopia .and also the same time she also noted that his whereabouts were unknown since 2000 G.C and she also leave the country because of his absence. she has not provided any legal document that shows her marriage was dissolved because she have no id

ea for last 15 years his whereabouts. my question is how I can explain this to immigration officer I'm very worried because in our sponsors questions she said she has not been previously married. though the question on marital status is clear but my sponsor thought if pertained to her current status as everything with respect to her previous status is already on record
