Advice needed urgently

Hello VJ members. I have a family dilema.

I sponsored my now husband on a fiance visa. I was the primary bread earner making good money. We got married and had a child. I was laid off from my job. My husband is working part time at 2 differnet jobs (practically min wage) but its not anywhere near the money I used to make. We cannot pay the mortgage or family bills with his income alone. I am going to apply for CalWorks if we even qualify. We have to pay our bills. Next year we have to apply to remove conditions from his temporary resident card. How will this negatively impact that process? Will he be deported even though he has a child here? will they break up a family for the unfortunate circumstances we found ourselvesn in? Or will they just ask him to find a differnet sponser? If we do qualify for CalWorks I anticipate for it to be temporary (a few months) until I find a job. We have an interview tomorrow for Calworks I just dont want to do anything wrong. We really do need assistance.

Hi,

Your husband has a green card, so your financial situation no longer matters.

For the ROC, your income does not matter. There is no financial requirements for the ROC.
