We both have pseudo-engagement rings that we both wear on our left hand - they only mean something to us.

He bought us wedding rings and we'll wear them once I see him this week!!!

My ex-husband never wore his wedding ring until I threw his worthless ### out and he was trying to make some sort of gesture of what our marriage meant to him.

It's an important symbol to me because of that. Wes and I ordered ours about four months before our wedding.

I'm currently wearing our gold/garnet/diamond promise ring on my left hand. When he comes here we'll shop for an engagement ring, that he'll surprise me with somehow... and yup, when the civil marriage rolls around we'll both be wearing wedding bands. :thumbs:

yep will do.

In fact, he does already. I had a thumb ring made of bracelet links that stretched out, and one night we were out and it flew off. So he found it, but then where to put it? So lo and behold, it only fit on his left ring finger.

We both liked it there. So it stayed (L) That was like 3-4 years ago
