Today my brother Gabriel would have turned twenty four but he passed away last May in a motorcycle accident....

We little knew that morning that

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly.

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.

You did not go alone,

for part of us went with you

the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.

Your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you,

you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken

and nothing seems the same,

but as God calls us one by one,

the Chain will link again.

Whenever, wherever

We're meant to be together

I'll be there and you'll be near

And that's the deal my dear

Thereover, hereunder

You'll never have to wonder

We can always play by ear

But that's the deal my dear

Finally in USA with hubby!!

Here's a poem I wrote shortly after Gabriel's death:

My brother... my brother

I love you so

My brother... my brother

did you really know

Memories flow

just like my tears

I thought we'd get closer

in the comming years

My brother...my brother

it hurts so much

to know I'll never feel your touch

To see our mom

sleep in your bed

and see our dad

just scratching his head

We can't believe we lost you bro

we think any minute

you'll walk thru the door

My brother... my brother

I look to the sky

and wonder which shinny

star you are

I know you are

looking down on us

and making sure we're alright

still we'd rather have you home each night

My brother... my brother

it's been two months but it

still hurts so

very much

I never know when

I'm going to be reminded of you

it could be at a wedding

or at Pizza Hut it's true

Listening to love song

it's just so hard

cuz I know you never

found someone so close to your heart

I hope you find her

in heaven Gabi

you deserve to be loved just like me

I worry about my mom and dad

I think they're growing apart

it just so sad

Maxi is great

I hope you can see

our beautiful nephew

is growing with glee

He often mentions you and his dad

I know you are with him

and it makes me glad

You often come to me

in my dreams

you tell me that heaven

is peaches and cream

And so it is

my brother my friend

we will always miss you

'til we meet again

Whenever, wherever

We're meant to be together

I'll be there and you'll be near

And that's the deal my dear

Thereover, hereunder

You'll never have to wonder

We can always play by ear

But that's the deal my dear

Finally in USA with hubby!!
