i'm 20 yrs old.. my visa type is IR2.. my question is.. do I need to get a CENOMAR for my interview? or no need since i'm not in K-1? - you need to prove you are single for IR2 right? Then get a CENOMAR.

and.. i have a twin sister.. do you guys think that we will be interviewed at the same time? or seperated? - Once an I-130 petition is approved, the National Visa Center (NVC) in the United States notifies the petitioner and provides guidance on how the Filipino spouse and children can apply for IR1 and IR2 visas, respectively. The NVC schedules the the applicant(s) for an interview and forwards the approved petition to the Embassy in Manila. The NVC will likewise notify the applicant(s) when they are scheduled to report for the medical examination and visa interview .

- when your received the interview schedule then you will know.

If you want your interviews to be the same day/time, you can have your parent request NVC to link your cases. That way, your interviews will be scheduled together.

Best of luck!

My husband is petitioning my son 16 years old, under IR2 and we got scheduled interview on November 24, 2015, I am gathering all the documents we will be needing and I check the site of USEM, YES you need CENOMAR for IR2 visa, all applicants above 18 years old. If you'll visit US Embassy Manila Site, there's a picture of getting NSO, CENOMAR etc. , if you click the CENOMAR, it has instructions. Hope it will help you. Good luck.

years ago, after my interview for ir2 the embassy submitted request to NSO for my CENOMAR. it took 2 weeks. I dont know if I am supposed to bring one that time but i remembered its not listed on the letter of interview because if it was then i should have gotten it, i guess they have to request it themselves. again, this was years ago

Your welcome. About AOS, when I had my interview as CR1 they just asked me the copy of latest W2 of the sponsor, in your case year 2014 W2. They just wanna make sure your sponsor meet the requirements. Its better to have a photocopy of AOS with you. The more you know about your case, the more confident you will be on your interview. And yes, NVC will send the AOS and IV packet it to USEM.
