K1 visa - Police certificate

So we just received notification that the consulate of Sydney will soon receive our case and issue us an interview time, My problem is I have yet to receive my police check and it is most likely not going to be ready in time.
Does anyone know what will happen if I attend the interview while my police certification is in processing?

You can go without it, but your process will be on hold until you send it to them (That is if you get a 221 (g))

Nothing to worry about, they will just put it on hold while they wait for it. I did my interview without them having received my medical as it was done the day before my interview, they were really nice about it and I received my visa 8 days later ..

The police certificate is really quick to get in AUS. I ordered mine online and it was sent to me within 2 weeks. The Syd consulate generally sets interviews around two months after receiving your documents, so you have plenty of time.

I received my interview date late July, interview was late September. Everything will be sent to you in an email.
