Questions - After Approval/ Preparing to Move

So I was approved on tuesday morning! yay lol
but now i have more questions that the interviewer didnt tell me, he just told me to look for the answers online...

1. what do I do about healthcare? - do i have to get travel insurance for the 90 days and then get healthcare once im married?

2. i'm on medication, do i get as many packets of my medication as i can from the chemist before i leave? do i get healthcare and see a doctor asap ?

Anyone know where i can find all this information?

i got a temporary healthcare before I left Israel and enough medicine for 9 months.

my husband said the Obamacare signing up starts at November 1st

Travel insurance will do nothing for you. That is for people who LIVE in another country and TRAVEL to the US. As soon as you leave your country to immigrate to the US, you don't LIVE there anymore.

It is annoying, I know - travel insurance cost me only 10 EUR a year, and temporary insurance in the US around 150 for a month. But there you go. I even used it once.

Can you be included in your husband's insurance?

I got travel insurance that lasted until a few weeks after our wedding so that gave us time to get me onto his insurance.

I felt better having it than having nothing since it costs a bomb over here !!

Travel insurance doesn't cover incoming immigrants!

You have to be a permanent resident of your home country, which you aren't if you enter on a K-1. My insurance was very clear about this.

Cover More do travel insurance for immigrants up to 12 months of coverage. I took out cover with them cause ive used them every time ive travelled, I took out 4 weeks coverage for myself and my daughter, and was told that if I need to extend that until I can get on my fiancé's health insurance that its not a problem at all.

Highly recommend them.
