We filled the AOS package and sent to Chicago Office in Feb 24th 2015

We had the AOS interview in September 11th which was almost 2 months ago in Baltimore, MD. The interview was pretty well and the officer was very nice. However, I brought to the interview the old Bio-metric form( he told me the form had change last month) therefore I would need to send the new one later. He gave me the case is hold for review letter and told us that he would send us the instruction for updating my Biometric form with further documents if needed within 120 days maximum.

After 2 weeks, we received the i-130 form approval notice.

Since then, it has been almost 2 months and my i-485 still has changed anything and no notice at all.

Today, I call 800 hotline and they said the Baltimore office is processing cases in December 26th 2014 and we will have to wait more.

I am worry because why it takes so long for my case?

Is i-130 approved means i-485 will be approved?

Would it help if I make and info-pass?

Thanks for your help

Make an infopass. I got my green card approved during my INFOPASS appointment after waiting for 4 months after the interview. Apparently my case has just been "sitting on the shelf" for months...

Update:

Our case was approved yesterday 01/27/16

So it took 4 months since the AOS interview. The reason for this long process is :

There are too many people in front of us and our case was waiting for review in 3 months.
