I think i need to clarify all this. All the harassment happened before he went to jail. it stopped, it's been a while since he contacted me again. he sent me mail from the jail, because he knew my old address. i will not give too many details, just because it is unneccesary in a public forum. DV gave me guidance, that's why i am living in a different place with a fake address. his friends called me ask to drop the case, i don't now how he got in touch with them. It was all taken care of for now! i have a new phone, email, address and hopefully life soon

So, it sounds like your biggest worry is his possible inquiry with immigration? If that's the case, it would seem that you really don't have much to worry about (as many posters have already indicated). I do agree with you being as prepared as possible for whatever comes your way. Maybe speaking to an immigration lawyer to go over all of your options is a good place to start. If money is an issue, try to find free consultations and at least see what options you have.

As everyone has also said, keep VERY GOOD records of everything. Try to keep it all in one place.

I've heard it's VERY difficult to get someone deported once their 10 years green card (without any restrictions). It's also easier said than done, but take a deep breath, exhale, and get on YOUR ROAD to peace and happiness.

And lastly... protect yourself. Be mindful of his insanity.

I wish you well. As Boiler stated its all sorted. You've got a new address (I believe, not sure what the "fake" address thing is about), new phone number, new email. Let go of him. Don't let him continue to abuse you mentally. Build a new life, focus on new beginnings.
