I'm going to ask again...Do you guys think USCIS will be working today and tomorrow and Wednesday? Also what about next week cause of New Years?

Tally is in for today. I got in 1 hour of work.

Tomorrow, doctor's appt in the morning. May get 1 hour in office, and then Christmas lunch with boss and co-worker. Then at the golf course by 2....nothing else to do but wait it out now.

For me, I don't have any hope of a NOA2 this week.

nooo! I worked a lot in my office today, we only get half day Thursday! Wish it was the same there.

When are you allowed to call them and ask what's going on with your Case? How many months later?

I got initial feedback from someone who had had a K-1 interview in Ethiopia. They said I have to include myself with an appointment to get in with her. Then it is a hit or miss, depending on the CO whether I can go to the window with her.

I am 9 hours difference, so I'll be calling tonight. I've already sent an email.

No matter, I'm planning on not being able to be at the window. But I will be there.

I know what you mean. I will cry as well. Better to have gotten it on 7 Dec so that we would be finished answering it now. Waiting is the worse torture.

people keep saying that were headed to RFE's now since weve not been approved yet im from november 10th.

The reason why I dont know if this is true is because all of the sequential numbers prior to mine have ben approved and all of the sequential numbers directly after mine and including mine have not been approved yet...i mean whats the odd the stack is just sitting on someones desk? I'd figure thats more likely then all of the sequential numbers directly after mine being RFES?

I'm only looking at Nov 2 receipt. Our date according to VJ was Dec 4-7. Most approvals occurred prior to 15 Dec. Now all I am seeing is RFE. None of the reviews are in order. I do see clusters of 3 or 4 at a time. Like today's RFEs were in 3 group clusters, one off on its own. All over the place, in front and behind mine. Mine actually is nearly sitting by itself now in its 10 digit group.

But none of this means nada. Maybe it is quicker to issue RFE now, and deal with the evidence later? Who knows. Either way, RFE is not bad. So do not fear.

I'm now researching the K-3, which is what I should have done in the first place---She told me we should marry in Ethiopia 6 months ago, but did I listen. Stupid American.

You mentioned K-3. I was looking to see if I could find any information about processing times for Ethiopia K-1' visas. Stumbled upon a link mentioning k-3 visa for Ethiopia.

I will make a photo copy of it first thing in the morning.

It is needed for AOS later down the road.

When do you plan on starting to call NVC?
