Pretty good reading on the K-1 screening process. Issued 17 Dec. Take a read. It shows that the K-1 vetting process is pretty good.

Please anybody tell me, do you know something about administrative checking AFTER the interview. Maybe there is a topic here on VJ. I know that there is a risk-category of people who could have this checking. Those people who had been working in specific places like Nuclear Power Plant, programmers etc... I be been working for 3 years at Nuclear Power Plant as an engineer (I have a diploma degree in mathematics-programming), after that I've been working at another places(economist and administrator at another places) , but maybe you have any ideas - will I have this administrative checking (or review)??? //////I do not know how to explain this in right way in English\\\\\\ please sorry if i ask this in here....Thanks you all!!!!

I just checked Igor's list and noticed no approvals yesterday. Did that law pass abt no more K-1's being processed? What's happening?

Just finished my run and noticed that too.

Looks like USCIS had their Christmas party yesterday (Guessing)

A few older November 2 were approved, so maybe they are starting to move again.

I just went to IGORS list and looked at the first 3 earliest November NOA1', the first one says their profile/info is not viewable the other 2 have not logged on in over 2 weeks.

Amazes me how someone could sign up here, create a timeline and not look at this site for 2 weeks. Heck I can't be off here for more than a few waking hours at a time and I'm already approved.

Need a shot of VJ coursing through my veins I guess.

LOL I feel the same way ?

Barely any approvals last night argg??

Tonight there better be double haha

I noticed my date also was pushed back to 20-23rd. This probably didn't help...

I guess filing close to holidays is never a good idea...

Im really sorry.

I really wanted you guys to receive an approval early. Now its like im going through the process alone and don't feel very excited to tell about my progress.

But just to note cecac is really slow on updating nvc process.. I called nvc and found out they sent my file off to Kingston yesterday so its in transit but the website still says at nvc.

So just a heads up guys.

Thank you that is nice of you :) we are still very happy for you and the others that did receive the NOA2! Soon hopefully we will be joining in on that process with you guys, and as you say, it is also a slow process.

Noooo I really pray they don't push that forward, this would just be awful.

BREATH: if there were to be a stop in the K-1 visa program it would be done by ending the acceptance of new petitions starting on some future date, such as 1 March 2016 no more K-1 petitions. All petitions in the system would be processed through. My expectation, so as not to upset people to much, and not have to refund money.

I've learned over the years that we have choices, either to sit back and let life (other people) steer our life boat, or to participate in the steering. I rather participate, or steer my own boat--control the odds as best I can. I think you should as well, for the sake of your future bride/groom to complete this process as we started it. If they want to change the rules of the game, let them do it after we are completed.

With that said.

I am asking our group to VOTE against the HR4274 that would end K-1. Ask your friends/family to vote as well, and anyone else you can (other groups you participate). Go here (thank you Tyler):

https://www.popvox.c...s/us/114/hr4274

If your friends/family are leaning against the K-1, because of the wacko in Cali along with the news media and drama queen politicians saying the K-1 is a loophole. Have them read this to understand the process we all go through:

http://diplopundit.n...eening-process/

The process is solid, and the best there is, no way can any process or background check 'read minds or hearts'. Any more than making outlawing guns can keep a wacko from getting one (aka Paris with very strict gun control)---don't forget another attack in France was averted a couple of months back on a train https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Thalys_train_attack.

Thank you so much for the link, I opposed it and sent a message to Congress! Is there a thread about this yet? We should get all K1ers in this.

As always thank you for the update, with cool color graphics. Can you do it in 3D, or 4K?

I checked my list (150 NOA1) last night and found that there were 5 RFEs issued on the 17 Dec. I couldn't find any approvals, but then I'm sure I may have missed some.

It seems to me that the easy approvals were issued first, and now the "2nd" pair of eyes are confirming the need for RFE. That is my impression based on the 9 RFEs issued over the last 2 days--I didn't find any approvals.

If I'm to get a RFE, I really wish they'd move it along. Rather get it sooner than later, so I can get it back to them faster. :clock::clock:

Side Note: I finally was able to get through on the phone to my fiancé. I told her the review hasn't happened yet, maybe today or next week. She, as always, said it was okay; for me not to go 'crazy'.

Thank you Jaime. Just by reading this thread over the past month, you can really see the love people have for their significant other. It would be a shame if they punished the true love we have because of 1 incident. Some people need to realize that millions of people have come over from other countries on a K-1 Visa for the right reasons. It makes me think of that saying, "Humans fear what we don't understand". I think a lot of people fear the process because they don't know about it.
