Me three!! :bonk: I was friends with my lawyer before he became a lawyer. He was giving me great advice on how to protect my business. Had over a half million in assets... key word: HAD. Paid him a healthy retainer. He said he would take care of it from there. Two weeks go by and no word from him. I called his office many times and the answer was the same every time.. "he has court today". Long story short, six weeks go by playing cat and mouse... me being the cat that could not find the mouse. Finally, I had enough. Went to his luxurious downtown office and his paralegal greeted me. I asked where he was and the paralegal said "it's his court date". I told him he probably needed to go ahead and call the police now because I was not leaving. He finally leveled with me and said my lawyer was out of the country. I thought he was on vacation :bonk:

In the meantime, my wife files for the divorce. Her parents are very wealthy and had the intention of cleaning me out (her mother used those words to my neighbor). I decided to represent myself in court. Should have done that in the first place. The judge ordered me to take possession of the house and keep the business (gone now).

What happened to my lawyer? He was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Last known whereabouts.... Canada.

Seems there are 3 birds of a feather in the Nov group. The rest of the group may want to stand clear......We could be contagious

So did you ever locate any of your assets or did he and his lady of the night snort them all?

:rofl::rofl: He got about 1/3 of the assets. Not sure how much she got from him  I'm not the only one that he robbed. That makes me feel better

There could be others among us and we are the only ones ________ enough to admit to it.

I wanted to insert "brave" but other words could work too.

I have no major ego to feed. Happy to bring a smile to my fellow human at my expense. If at the worse others find out their 'issues' are not so unusual. Ain't nobody perfect. I had the fortune to tour a sewer plant, and found out it really all does smell the same no matter what part of the city it comes from :ot2:

That literally made me laugh :rofl:

Back to topic.... My timeline is now showing Dec 21-24 instead of Dec 19-22. Yes, I still look at the timeline out of boredom (that's my excuse). If I had Eric's talent and patience, I would be like a kid with a new toy. Would that be considered premeditated OCD?

You could get your NOA2 before me. Nobody knows when as there is no rhyme or reason as to the order of approvals. I would love to be a fly on the wall and see what REALLY goes on at USCIS. Hmm... wonder if they have open web cams.

We are fortunate in that our fiances are from Philippines. Seems that NOA2's are awarded quicker on an average compared to most other countries. I was reading some other threads about Philippines K-1 visas. A lot of people are irritated because of the fast turnaround for Phils. Somebody asked why the process was faster there. The response was that started in 2013 because of typhoons. I don't see why that would be a reason of if there is any truth to it.

I noticed my time line changed to the 28th to the 31th. it used to be 23rd to 25th.

Back in the day, seems so long ago now, when my timeline date said Dec 4-7, and it was still Nov, I noticed the dates change as well. Would flux between Dec 4 to the Dec 7 every few days.

Then Dec 4 arrived, nada, Dec 7 arrived, nada. And now it is ancient history.

You still have the opportunity to meet your date. Let us believe, and may the force be with you.... (yeah I'm watching Star War reruns tonight)

I noticed that as well. But I attributed to the shear numbers. Philippians are number 1 on the K-1 visa list in number. So if this is just a gamble, with 30% review/approvals within 30 days or less, then numbers are on the side of these visas. Look at Ethiopia, my fiance, I bet there are maybe 2 or 3 of us. So low chance of falling into the right box.

53% of the 34,000 visas come from 10 countries. 18% of all visas come from Philippines.

What you think? The Odds are Truly in your favor.....hmmm time to watch The Hunger Games

Yes so many K-1's are from the Philippines maybe USCIS finds them easier to vet plus the sheer number they know exactly what to look for.

I was thinking Haiti may still be such a mess from the Earthquake years ago that our government to this day give them a priority but who knows that is just my thought.

Just took the kids to see the new Star Wars Movie Episode 7 ..ummm VII.

It was so good kind of a similar story to Episode 4 and 5. Very well done thank you JJ Abrams.

I won't spoil anything. Only real complaints were C3-PO didn't sound loud enough kind of muffled and the music score was bland except when they played the original score anyway. It's a must see for any fan. 32 years was worth the wait.

A nice diversion from the process here.

My favorite droids are , C3-PO, R2-D2, the new one BB-8 very cool and funny.

I'm hoping that you and ERTexas get a visit from K-1,2 B 4 U, it's a very fast droid which is good at destroying any RFE's he comes from the planet CSC .

I just went to IGORS list and looked at the first 3 earliest November NOA1', the first one says their profile/info is not viewable the other 2 have not logged on in over 2 weeks.

Amazes me how someone could sign up here, create a timeline and not look at this site for 2 weeks. Heck I can't be off here for more than a few waking hours at a time and I'm already approved.

Need a shot of VJ coursing through my veins I guess.

Quick, before Christmas. The talk about stopping K-1 is very annoying, and somewhat disturbing. Government does move slow, but it still is annoying. :protest:
