I know this doesn't help you now but lawyers SUCK....your money. My divorce atty sat on my papers as well. 2 freaking weeks just sitting on his desk. Never use them for immigration purposes. Shows how little they know TSC doesn't even work new I-129F's . Don't worry to much about who you/they wrote the check out too. They have a stamp that they will put on ALL incoming checks. If other's here have rejection for wrong payee on check hopefully they will speak up. Important is amount is CORRECT AND that it was sent to the right place. Those clowns you hired may have sent directly to TSC instead of Texas lock box. Ugggg..hang in there and keep us updated.

Put a block on the check. And start over.

hey guys what smart phone app are you using to track your case i would like to use to follow my case as well.

Check your playstore apps on your phone and choose the one that says status checks. And go to the settings and select how often you want it checked. Goodluck.

Ive been reading some crazy comments one Facebook about how some people feel about the K1 visa process its very obscured. Ive also come to the realization that a lot of these government officials have very little knowledge of the K1 process. If only they knw how hard this whole process is. Its making me a little nervous. I feel that the k1 process will drastically slow down and its not due to the holidays

Prior to that it was BCIS = Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services

and prior to that it was just simple old INS. Immigration Naturalization Services. After 9-11 it was moved over to control of Department of Homeland Security.

I guess I'll wait til Monday, in the mean time i also email lockboxsupport, they say it could take up to 15 days for a response. Hopefully they response sooner so i can show those clown they they never received it an start re sending my application.

I wish i found the forum sooner then i wouldn't waste my money hiring those clown. Though that i pay them it would be less headache, now is worst then i expected.

If it's ok to ask how much did they charge you?

Moral of the story:

1) stay away from lawyers.

2) stay away from Jaime. Crazy things happen when he's involved. :bonk:

Me three!! :bonk: I was friends with my lawyer before he became a lawyer. He was giving me great advice on how to protect my business. Had over a half million in assets... key word: HAD. Paid him a healthy retainer. He said he would take care of it from there. Two weeks go by and no word from him. I called his office many times and the answer was the same every time.. "he has court today". Long story short, six weeks go by playing cat and mouse... me being the cat that could not find the mouse. Finally, I had enough. Went to his luxurious downtown office and his paralegal greeted me. I asked where he was and the paralegal said "it's his court date". I told him he probably needed to go ahead and call the police now because I was not leaving. He finally leveled with me and said my lawyer was out of the country. I thought he was on vacation :bonk:

In the meantime, my wife files for the divorce. Her parents are very wealthy and had the intention of cleaning me out (her mother used those words to my neighbor). I decided to represent myself in court. Should have done that in the first place. The judge ordered me to take possession of the house and keep the business (gone now).

What happened to my lawyer? He was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Last known whereabouts.... Canada.

Haha..No way. You we are here for the duration and so are you.

Yes, I've been meaning to apologize to the Nov group. I do that at cash registers, because when I get in line the cashier has to change out the register tape, or is ending their shift. If I hadn't gotten in line that wouldn't have happened.

So, I humbly apologize to the Nov group for submitting in Nov.
