It means your with the rest of us lonely hearts who have dates before yours. You are welcome to come join us in a daily lonely hearts group cry.

I check every 30 minutes--sometimes more often, sometimes less but mostly 30 minutes-- during my waking hours (minus toilet, sleep time). I use the USCIS phone app to simultaneously check 40 petitions that are numbered close to mine.

At home, I check the 150 petitions (I have a spreadsheet) that were sent in for my receipt date of November 2. I have to do that one at a time. I also await our resident guru's automated update with colored graph for % completion.

In between I do some work to remain employed, but luckily this is the Christmas holiday season and the expectation to do real work is pretty low---perhaps same as it is at the USCIS and thus we have a slow down :clock:

LoveinUganda, as you can see Jaime is one of the most hard core members here on VJ. He is taking no prisoners so to speak.

Welcome to to the group/board/thread.

There it is. Just popped up on the smart phone-- RFE for me. Well at least I am on the trail and moving forward. It is all good. My petition didn't end up as fire starter, or lost in the pile.

Now if only I knew what they want me to provide so I could prep it now. I hate waiting on snail mail--another reason to lay awake at night

NOTE: It doesn't show up on the USCIS case tracker, that will happen tonight I suppose.

Whoohoooooo Thank the powers that be!

An RFE will be just fine at least it isn't being used as a door stop as you thought or given to a person on maternity leave.

Congrats Jaime!

Not exactly what you want but this is positive movement.

What a relief

I'm so happy for the 2 of you.

Just wow!

ha ha ha ha ha--gag on me. I got so many petitions I'm tracking I didn't check the number. It is for someone else. My petition still has a chance to be fire starter, or lost in the pile.

Haha. The smartphone is smarter than the user.....

Rep Sam Johnson is a no body trying to get noticed. Don't worry about it. Congress won't do nothing with it. But I did send my no vote. Thanks!

OMG thing just get from bad to worst.

I reviewed everything I send to the lawyer office base on their instruction and i think i found error.

THey instructed me to made the check payabe to "USCIS". USCIS website, USCIS officer on the phone also told me i tshoud be payable to U.S. Department of HOmeland Security or it would be rejected.

I called the lawyer office and tell them and they still insist USCIS and US Depatment of HOmeland Security is the same and it shouldn't be reject (how dump and stubborn is that ?

The officer also tell me if it pass 30 day and nothing received with the mistake of the check it more likely reject already. And the lawyer office still want me to wait

Last night i couldn't sleep, so i sent email to someone suppose to run the office (lawyer i guess) and will also call them first thing in the morning when they open and get to the bottom of this. Last time that I talk to the person that suppose to handle and check on my case. I told her that by this time USCIS should have deposit my check and forward my petition to either California or Texas for reviewed, she was surprise to see that i know how the process work (base on reading on this forum) and she kept insist that there ONLY one service center in Texas that handling Fiance application.

I know this doesn't help you now but lawyers SUCK....your money. My divorce atty sat on my papers as well. 2 freaking weeks just sitting on his desk. Never use them for immigration purposes. Shows how little they know TSC doesn't even work new I-129F's . Don't worry to much about who you/they wrote the check out too. They have a stamp that they will put on ALL incoming checks. If other's here have rejection for wrong payee on check hopefully they will speak up. Important is amount is CORRECT AND that it was sent to the right place. Those clowns you hired may have sent directly to TSC instead of Texas lock box. Ugggg..hang in there and keep us updated.

:bonk: ha ha no way. Me too.

After waiting a month (past when they should have moved forward past the law mandated cool down period), multiple emails (documentation), and phone calls by me. I was told my lawyer had died, and I was being transferred to another lawyer.

This next one (Lawyer 1.5) met with me to hear my case, and then charged me for that. After another month, emails/phone, I fired Lawyer 1.5, who immediately upon getting the written notice of termination started doing work. I got called by the paralegals 5 times over 2 days. The excuse now for not moving was that they could not contact the other lawyer. Crazy thing, it was a nice divorce, so I was talking to my ex the whole time who had no argument with my settlement offer--all acceptable.

Recall my first Axiom: When Jaime is involved crazy things happen.

On to the next lawyer and going to court, but of course lawyer 1.5 'had' to be present at court as it was her obligation to her client (me) until the court officially released her...she charged me for fulfilling her obligation. Never mind her charge for reading the termination letter I sent her, yes she billed me for that as well.

The opposing lawyer (ex's) couldn't be found and later said he didn't know about the court date/time, never mind that he is the one that scheduled the date/time and issued me a summons command. He tells me that my ex never answers her phone, and he can't find her--I tell him funny thing she said the same about him  . He reviewed my offer, and said it looked fine. Kicker--ready for it--he asked me to contact my ex to call him.

Lawyer 2 was better, and informed me that the now dead lawyer 1 had embezzled his law office. Which was maybe why Lawyer 1.5 had not refunded the remaining 'retainer' (money) that she owed me after waiting 2 months (multiple phone calls, and emails). When I sent a debt collection letter (yes I did) to Lawyer 1.5, and her partners (each one got a letter, with listing of my documentation) as I was threatening to sue the office, suddenly I got a call from the partners, and a email from Lawyer 1.5 saying she knew nothing about it. And I got my refund next day delivered.

Note: Paralegals threw lawyer 1.5 under the bus, and lawyer 1.5 threw paralegals under the bus--fingers pointed at each other :pop:

After another month of waiting, I attempted to contact Lawyer 2. Who had now disappeared. 2 weeks of calling everyday I find her partner. Partner tells me Lawyer 2 was involved in a serious car accident and has been in the hospital. Lawyer 2 calls me 2 days later, and is recovered enough to go to court to close the divorce.

Moral of the story:

1) stay away from lawyers.

2) stay away from Jaime. Crazy things happen when he's involved. :bonk:

I guess I'll wait til Monday, in the mean time i also email lockboxsupport, they say it could take up to 15 days for a response. Hopefully they response sooner so i can show those clown they they never received it an start re sending my application.

I wish i found the forum sooner then i wouldn't waste my money hiring those clown. Though that i pay them it would be less headache, now is worst then i expected.
